After we had our taxes done, they were not filed and could not get a return phone call from her.I was told she had appts and had to do their taxes 1stWe had our taxes done two weeks ago and was told that she needed to look into some thing regarding them and she would get back to us. She never called us or returned our several phone calls. Now, she is stating that she needed further information which I can provide to her now and could have provided it two weeks ago if she had answered our calls. She told me that even if I provide her with this information she cannot finish our taxes because she has appointments. In other words people who had appointment after mine will have their taxes completed before me. She was rude on the phone and gave me excuses as to why she had not returned our calls and also told me that the more messages we leave her it just takes her longer to get back to us because she has to go through the messages. I told her that she should have called after the first message then. After asking her several times when she could finish our taxes without getting an answer I became upset and hung up on her.Desired SettlementI would like my taxes completed and sent out immediately.Business Response the client came in on feb 10 and was missing info I said I need the info or would have to research when I had a minute, but could not file w/o. the client want a fraudulent return filed without info and I said no. the client called several times in a day putting me behind in work so I could not return any calls as it was to late at night to call. when I called the client back she threatened me told me she was suppose to go to the first of the list with her missing information I was to cancel my other appointments and finish her return. I told her it would get done ASAP and that was not good enough for her. her husband came over on 2/24 and I was between appointments so I was able to do it then so she has everything. she just likes to harass and threaten people I would just like to do my workFinal Consumer Response The response given from EZ Accounting is totally inaccurate and quite offensive especially from someone working for us. I make my tax appointment early so that I can get my return ASAP since money is always scarce. I never threatened [redacted] except to state that if she did not respond to my calls that I would have no choice but to file with the Revdex.com and use social media against her. [redacted] did not state that we were missing any information on Feb. 10. We owed taxes on a stock we had cashed in and wanted to just pay the full tax amount, which is what Ms. [redacted] is calling fraudulent. Ms. [redacted] wanted to see if she could save us money (thank you for doing your job)and told us that she would look up the information she needed(which was how much the stock was worth in 1993) and finish the taxes. We thought that meant in a timely manner, not whenever she felt like getting around to it. Ms. [redacted] stated that we called several times in a day, which is untrue, but did try for a week without a response. In fact I did not receive a return call from her until I filed with the Revdex.com. If she does not understand how that could be concerning for her client then she is not very astute. I am also very busy and do not like to take my much needed time off to chase down an accountant whom I thought had completed the job. I still do not have confirmation that my taxes have been filed with the state or IRS. I will not be satisfied until I receive that confirmation. Now, almost a month after my first appointment.Final Business Response the wife never even spoke to me till I returned her husband call she never said she was calling the Revdex.com every thing stated in her complaint is not what happened and she had her return within 2 weeks which is very timely. I was at a fneral and was out of the office and was not immediately in touch with her as I have to return calls between or after appointments I told them they could have their money back just bring me back my work and I will shred it in font of them and then shred their check....what more can I do. what more can be done she told me she just wants to call Revdex.com and run me on social media.. she canbring back my work and I will shred it and give her shred her check but it is not enough.
