I called the business to get information about their service so that I can pay my car registration which is suspended. I was told they can assist me all I need to pay is a $20 processing fee. I arrived I and reminded the receptionist about our conversation. She asked for the $20 payment. She took my DMV paper work to her boss. He came back a minute later to tell me it would be $5 more dollars since my registration was 90 days past due. I paid it. He went backnowledge to his computer and came back a few minutes later and said it will be an additional $70 to view my registration and process it! I asked why was this information not provided over the phone when I explained my situation? He just said that is the fee. I asked for a detailed receipt which he wrote vague with no specific information and just wrote it as oth r r fees and that the fees are non refundable. He did not do anything that was promised, which was to procedo my registration. I did see that there are a few complaints on yelp. I hope this gets looked into so that people do not continue to go and try to save time going to the DMV to pay fees and not receive any service.
