we are responding t o a complaint by [redacted] who had repairs done on 1/30/ [redacted] came t o our location on the above date mentioned for a waterpump repair , the mechanic that worked on the customers vehicle prior to us had been putting straight water I n t o the cooling system and this caused the block to freeze causing damage to the engine , the customer was made aware that the engine would either need to be replaced or the freeze plugs on the engine would have to be replaced cause they were bulging, the customer decided to just have the engine replaced , he was also informed that when it came to major repairs if the part wasnt new he would be responsible for providing the part himself, it took the customer alsmost weeks to bring us the engine to put into his vehicle , the engine that [redacted] *** purchased wasnt the excact same engine for his truck but it could still be used as long as we added parts from his former engine he was informed it would be additional charges and he agreed and signed the invoice The labor for the engine was $additional charges occured due to us also having to remove and replace the oil pain gasket, the thermostat, oil pump & manifold, the customer also had a oil change done, the customer also requested his exhaust pipe be welded, we also had t o purchase additional parts to accomadate the changing of the engine the labor for the additional work I s an additional $ The customer picked up the vehicle and a few days later we recieved a call from the customer saying that the vehicle had stopped on the highway and caught fire , the customer was informed to bring the vehicle to usso we can check it out and, the customer refused t o have the vehicle brung to us he said he wasnt going to pay for towing , so we told him again to bring the vehicle t o us and he still refused and we also asked him for proof of the fire and he refused to provide it, in our opinion the customer is just trying t o get some money from us due to extra charges that occured

This company is a joke! I got my car serviced there on October 19, 2013. I had my Calipers, Rotors and break pads changed on this visit. I paid $475 and the guy said they could get me in immediately, no appointments needed. After the service was complete the guy told me I had a 1 year warranty on all products and services. That if I had any issues to call them. Prior to taking my car in I didn't have any other issues or leaks. Since then my car has leaked break fluid and it has progressively gotten worse. I now have to put break fluid in every other week! I called EZ Auto to talk to them about this issue and see if they would fix it. [redacted], the guy I spoke with, was extremely rude! He told me they only give a 3 month warranty and that the caliper must be old. Even though he just put it on not quite 11 months ago. Then he started blaming me and saying that I should have brought it in a lot sooner. He said I could bring it in and he would look at it, give me a free estimate but I would have to pay to have it fixed. Even though this problem was caused by them not fixing it correctly in the first place. And I was told it would still be under warranty. Today, I went to a highly recommended shop near by to have it looked at. Ez Auto did NOT tighten my caliper hose when they did the work causing it to loosen more and more over time and causing it to leak break fluid. Not to mention they used really cheap break pads, even though I paid for ceramics, that I now how to replace not even a year later.
Bottom line, stay away from this company! You do not get what you pay for, literally, and they do not honor their own warranties.

and he agreed and signed the invoice The labor for the engine was $650 additional charges occured due to us also having to remove
and replace the oil pain gasket, the thermostat, oil pump & manifold, the customer also had a
oil change done, the customer also requested his exhaust pipe be welded, we also had t o
purchase additional parts to accomadate the changing of the engine.  the labor for the additional
work I s an additional $320.  The customer picked up the vehicle and a few days later we recieved a call  from the

have the vehicle brung to us he said he wasnt going to pay for towing , so we told him again

from us due to extra charges that occured.
