Seller advertised LTZ Tahoe with 33,miles as "mint" no scratches, dents or dings, like new This was an online sale, sold for $44,was not willing to negotiate on price as this is a one of a kind like new I specifically asked about the tires and he said there was easily another year left in them The vehicle is definately a beautiful vehicle but by no means is it "mint" I did notify him that when I had hand washed it I found large dents and pretty significant scratches (down to bare metal) that had to have been touched up when I bought it I took it to get it inspected in PA and it would not pass inspection, needed new tires and brakes and rotors all the way around A few days later my husband was driving me home from [redacted] from having surgery and he had to literally stand on the brake pedal for the tahoe to stop Took back to the shop to find that someone had put the wrong oil in the vehicle and it had ruined the brake assist motor So far in less than one month

We sold this vehicle to [redacted] on 10/16/2017, we delivered it to her in person, she inspected the vehicle at that time and seemed please with the purchaseWhile going over some of the concerns she had prior to the sale, I mentioned the tires would need replacing some time in the near future We do not negotiate our prices because we sell our vehicles thousands below book value and work on a very small profit marginAll our vehicles are inspected prior to marketing them, all fluids are checked and topped off if need be, brakes did not squeak or vibrate which is an idication of brakes and or rotors needing replacementWe have paintless ding and dent professionals and touch up specialists that come to us every week, there were no dings or dents or deep scratches anywhere on that vehicleShe decided to call me after weeks to tell me she saw dents on the truckShe signed the AS IS buyers guide that clearly states that the vehicle is sold AS IS but is accompanied by the balance of the factory warrantyAll dealers of the state of New Jersey are required to guarantee inspection, unless otherwise agreed upon both parties, but in New Jersey only, not other statesI would have addressed any issue she had with the vehicle if she would have just given me a chance, she never mentioned the brakes when she called me, only mentioned a few dings that she found well after several weeks of purchasing the carHer problem should be with her service repair facility who overcharged her on the brake job, brakes and rotors for that vehicle cost is $and labor to install is $I can be reached on my personal cell phone anytime [redacted] Sincerely, Eli Zi [redacted] , Owner of Ez Auto Buyers LLC

I am rejecting this response because: When I contacted Eli I felt that he had absolutely no interest in my concerns. He did state that "I did not have to take the vehicle if I wasn't happy with it" I explained to him that he had advertised it as "like new, no dings, dents or scratches...." There is a large dent behind the back tire on the passenger side, there is a scratch at the top of the passengers side front door that is down to bare metal and there are a couple other dents that look like it was hit by doors. When I had talked to him on the phone prior to buying it I asked about everything including the tires and he stated that yes it would need tires in the future but I should get a year out of them. He also stated that he would not hide anything about the vehicle as he wanted to gain my business long term not just for this one vehicle. I was obviously too trusting!When you buy a vehicle out of state you have to have it inspected in PA within days of registering it. When I took it to have it inspected it not only needed tires it also needed brakes and rotors. I ordered the tires and scheduled the service and before we got it in the shop we were driving home from me having surgery and we lost the brakes. Luckily my husband was driving and got the vehicle stopped by standing on the brake pedal. The garage said that the brake assist motor was shot, they said it was full of metal shavings and they believed it may have been caused by the wrong type of oil being put into the vehicle. As far as Eli stating that they sell several thousands below book value I found more of the exact same vehicle since then with less miles for the same price. One of them only had 15,miles. And he only offered me 7,for my trade when it books for over 11,000. He also states that he delivered the vehicle to me, we actually met half way and he had sent his twin year old sons. I found the dents and scratches when I washed it by hand, unfortunately it was a few weeks later as I had surgery shortly after picking up the vehicle

She decided to call me after 4 weeks to tell me she saw dents on the truck. She signed the AS IS buyers guide that clearly states that the vehicle is sold AS IS but is accompanied by the balance of the factory warranty. All dealers of the state of New Jersey are required to guarantee inspection, unless otherwise agreed upon both parties, but in New Jersey only, not other states. I would have addressed any issue she had with the vehicle if she would have just given me a chance, she never mentioned the brakes when she called me, only mentioned a few dings that she found well after several weeks of purchasing the car. Her problem should be with her service repair facility who overcharged her on the brake job, brakes and rotors for that vehicle cost is $165.00 and labor to install is $120.00.
