It was towed to their shop, and I was contacted later that night by one of the sales peopleHe told me they had to “REMOVE WATER from the engine”, and “reset the sensor.” The sales person apologized to me said that my car was now running fineI picked It up later that night, and as I explained in my previous report, it completely failed on me less than minutes laterI then had it towed back to themI know I’m simply stating the obvious here, but I still want to point out that my breaking down ten minutes after picking my "fixed" car up leads one to assume that the problem WAS NOT FIXED, and that there still must be water in my engine! I told the salesperson over the phone what had happened and he became somewhat hostile and defensiveHe stated, “well, I put gas in it! It was driving just fine before you picked it up!" This continued to be a theme with Ez DealsStatements that seemed to frame myself as the one to blame for the car not running The following evening I spoke with Ez Deals and they told me my car was running fine nowand they asking them what the problem is with the carThe first explanation I received was that there was still water in the vehicle which lead to an issue with the sensorI found this strange because that was the exact same explanation they gave me the FIRST time it broke downdays later, the EXACT same thing happened with the car as happened the night I drove it ten minutes from their shop and the car completely failedThe date this happened was June 1’st, As of June 7’th 2017, Ez Deals had not contacted the auto mechanic at the Ford Specialist to hear from him the specifics of the damage that THEIR PRESSURE WASHING OF THE ENGINE, had doneAll that I wanted them to do was to make the situation rightBut in the end I feel like I was preyed uponAnd in retrospect, I probably made it pretty easy for them to doI was the ideal preyI had very little money and needed something as quick as possibleSo they sold me a lemonIn the end it’s my fault for opening myself up to be preyed upon by these peopleBUT, if justice can be done in this situation, I ask for the help of the Better Business BoroughPlease HelpI am happy to provide and supporting documents or witness statements that you may needThank you for your time

I, Mohammadali * *** the owner of EZ DEALS AUTO SALES, am writing regarding the complaint #***On May 12th, Mr*** and his mother visited our location to look for a vehicle with a price range of $2000-$After test driving three vehicles, Mr*** liked the Ford FocusHe
mentioned after visiting a few dealers before our location, he's very happy and comfortable with the way our location answered all of his questionsAlso, offered to drop off the Ford to Mr***'s mechanic (*** ***) to get a pre inspectionOn Monday 15th, I received a text message to drop off the vehicle to the *** *** on May 16th at noon to get it inspectedOn May 17th, when the inspection was completed, I personally picked up the Ford from *** *** dealer to bring back to our location and waited for customer to contact us with a resultBy text message, I was notified that the Ford passed the inspection and they're planning to come to our location the same evening to finalize the dealAfter arrival, Mr*** asked if it's possible to test drive the vehicle again with his girlfriend, *** ***After driving the vehicle for almost minutes they were super happy with the way the vehicle was running, how clean and more importantly no mechanical problems due to early inspection by *** *** This is a small family owned business and our goal is to make sure everyone is respected and 100% satisfiedTherefore, due to the customer's lack of credit, Ez Deals Auto Sales had to discount the selling price $to cover the bank feesAfter spending over one hour with the bank, finally able to get the approval with less cash down, a lot lower interest rate and way better termsAt the time of delivering the vehicle to the customer, I was told that Ez Deals did great and they are 100% happy with everything and willing to let everyone know about their experienceA few days later, I received a phone call from the customer and was told that we are frauds and theifs and that he's going to sue usI tried to explain that the vehicle was inspected and not only that, they did sign a Buyers Guide so that vehicle was sold AS IS and we are not able to help at this pointI mentioned maybe the battery is bad because the mechanic recommended to replace the battery in six monthsOn Sunday May 21st, I was notified again that car is not runningKnowing that the vehicle was sold AS IS and also PRE INSPECTED by the customer, I decided to go the extra mile and help our customerAfter meeting with the customer's Mom and inspecting the vehicle, we thought that because of pressure washing by the detail department, that the spark plugs and wires need to be replacedAfter driving with the customer's mother to Auto Zone, I did purchase brand new spark plugs and spark plug wires and installed for NO charge to provide better customer serviceThe vehicle was running with no issues until the same nightAgain at 12:30am, I received a text message regarding that the vehicle is not running and the customer is going to tow it to our locationAt first, I felt very disrespected to be contacted at such a late time but still I did not mention anything and happily agreed to check the vehicle the next dayAfter driving the vehicle for almost hours between myself and my father all day, we found out that this vehicle has no mechanical problems and that the customer might be looking for a reason to undo the dealIn the evening of the same day, we did explain to the customer that this vehicle has no issues and is ready to be picked upMy father also, is willing to go on a test drive with the customer for as long as they would like to make sure and prove that the car runs great and has no issuesThe customer refused my father's offer and happily drove off our locationThe customer was requesting to not having a loan with GAP insuranceTherefore, I was asked to meet them at their house to sign off on the cancellation formI was told by the customer that the Ford is at the Ford dealership now and they are saying the throttle body needs to be replaced for $I offered as a good will to replace it for free and at that time the customer was very happyA day later, we were told very rudely that we have to pay half the cost and they do not trust us to work on their vehicle anymore and if we do refused to cover half the cost which it was $at first and day later jumped to almost $that they will report us and write bad reviews everywhere they canWe do believe that Ez Deals Auto Sales did everything before and after the sale to make sure to provide great customer servicePlease see attachment for Buyers Guide and test drive form signed by the customer Thank you again for your time and please let us know if you have anymore questions

I am rejecting this response because:Words cannot express how disgusted I am by the utter dishonesty that EZ deals has communicated through their response. If even 1 person benefits by my experience by avoiding this business at all costs, then my loss will not be in vain. Not only EZ deals, but anyone who prays upon the financial shortcomings of individuals by selling them a vehicle that immediately fails to operate. In EZ deals response I have found several inaccuracies. Some blatantly dishonest, others just plain silly and almost laughable. Ez Deals states that the vehicle was running just fine the rest of the day after they replaced the spark plugs and wires. And that I then contacted them the next day and reported that it was not working and was going to tow it to them. They write, “After driving with the customer's mother to Auto Zone, I did purchase brand new spark plugs and spark plug wires and installed for NO charge to provide better customer service. The vehicle was running with no issues until the same night. Again at 12:30am, I received a text message regarding that the vehicle is not running and the customer is going to tow it to our location.”This is a COMPLETE LIE. The car was not “running with no issues until the same night.” They worked on my car where it had parked, unable to start, for at least an hour and a half before requesting that we have it towed to their shop for further inspection. I have multiple witnesses and the AAA paperwork to back this up! It was towed to their shop, and I was contacted later that night by one of the sales people. He told me they had to “REMOVE WATER from the engine”, and  “reset the sensor.” The sales person apologized to me said that my car was now running fine. I picked It up later that night, and as I explained in my previous report, it completely failed on me less than 10 minutes later. I then had it towed back to them. I know I’m simply stating the obvious here, but I still want to point out that my breaking down ten minutes after picking my "fixed" car up leads one to assume that the problem WAS NOT FIXED, and that there still must be water in my engine!  I told the salesperson over the phone what had happened and he became somewhat hostile and defensive. He stated, “well, I put gas in it! It was driving just fine before you picked it up!" This continued to be a theme with Ez Deals. Statements that seemed to frame myself as the one to blame for the car not running.  The following evening I spoke with Ez Deals and they told me my car was running fine now. and they  asking them what the problem is with the car. The first explanation I received was that there was still water in the vehicle which lead to an issue with the sensor. I found this strange because that was the exact same explanation they gave me the FIRST time it broke down.5 days later, the EXACT same thing happened with the car as happened the night I drove it ten minutes from their shop and the car completely failed. The date this happened was June 1’st, 2017. As of June 7’th 2017, Ez Deals had not contacted the auto mechanic at the Ford Specialist to hear from him the specifics of the damage that THEIR PRESSURE WASHING OF THE ENGINE, had done. All that I wanted them to do was to make the situation right. But in the end I feel like I was preyed upon. And in retrospect, I probably made it pretty easy for them to do. I was the ideal prey. I had very little money and needed something as quick as possible. So they sold me a lemon. In the end it’s my fault for opening myself up to be preyed upon by these people. BUT, if justice can be done in this situation, I ask for the help of the Better Business Borough. Please Help. I am happy to provide and supporting documents or witness statements that you may need. Thank you for your time.
