Review: A relator found us a rent to buy home @ [redacted].We put 3,000.00 down on the purchase price and 1,500.00 a month rent. We moved in and got very sick. I seen black mold in the basement so I called the landlord. I told her that she needed to have a certified person test the air quality in the home or I would call the building inspector to do so. We then found out that the relator is the one who was living in the house before we moved in, we also found out that it was his sister that owned the home. The relator and his sister asked us if we would agree to moving right back out if she refunded 2,000.00 of the rent. The relator "[redacted]" offered us 2,000.00 credit from the 3,000.00 paid to him towards the purchase price of the house. He said that it wouldn't take more than a month to find us a house. It has been three months that we have been living out of a Hotel. He said that he would contact us with any new listings to see if we wanted it before posting it on [redacted]. He never done that and never returns my phone calls. Every time I call him about a house that we see on [redacted], he tells us that it has mold in it or they do not allow dogs. I contacted him on 12/24/2013 expressed that we wanted our money back because he was not doing anything that he said he said he would. He told me that was a coupon and told me that I had to prove that he new about the mold.Desired Settlement: It has been three months and the relator continues to have excuses when it comes to him placing us into a home. so, if he does not have an acceptable house for us, we would like to have our money back.

Review: THIS IS THE SECOND COMPLAINT THAT I HAVE SUBMITTED ON THIS MATTER. [redacted] HAD MOVED OUT OF HIS SISTERS HOUSE DUE TO MOLD ISSUES AND BECAUSE HE WAS A REALATOR HE PUT THE HOUSE ON THE MARKET "RENT WITH OPTION TO BUY". WE GAVE THEM 3,000.00 DOWN ON THE PURCHASE PRICE AND 1,500.00 FOR THE FIRST MONTHS RENT. WE STAYED IN THE HOUSE FOR ONE NIGHT AND BECAME VERY SICK. WE CONTACTED THEM AND THEY HAD A PROFESSIONAL COME DO TESTING AND IT CAME BACK LEVEL 4 MOLD IN EVERY BATHROOM AND THE BASEMENT. I WAS TOLD BY THE PROFESSIONAL THAT WAS THE HIGHEST LEVEL MOLD. WE STAYED IN A HOTEL FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS UNTIL WE WERE FINANCIALLY UNABLE TO. WHILE WE WERE WAITING FOR THE LANDLORD TO RESPOND BECAUSE THEY WERE TAKING THEIR TIME FINDING A RESOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM. FIRST THEY ASKED US TO STAY WITH FAMILY WHILE THEY FIXED IT. WE DID NOT HAVE ANY FAMILY AROUND HERE. I HAVE UP LOADED THE ORIGIONAL AGREEMENT, THE LETTER THAT I SENT AFTER JUST LIVING IN THE HOUSE ONE NIGHT, AND THE LETTER FROM [redacted] DISSOLVING THE CONTRACT,GIVING US 2,000.00 CASH BACK, AND ALSO GIVING US 2000.00 CREDIT TOWARDS ANOTHER HOUSE. WHEN WE SEE HOUSES OF HIS ON [redacted] AND CALL HIM, THERE IS ALWAYS AN EXCUSE OF WHY IT IS NOT AVAILABLE. THE PAPERS CONCERNING THE CONTRACT BEING DISSOLVED GOT SOME SYRUP ON THEM WHILE OUR STAY AT THE HOTEL. IF YOU NEED ME TO TRY TO REWRITE THE WORDS ON ANOTHER PAPER SO THAT YOU CAN COMPARE THEM OR IF YOU COULD ASK **. [redacted] FOR THE COPY THAT HE HAS OF THE AGREEMENT. THAT WOULD PROBABLY BE BEST IF WE COULD GET HIS COPY. I KNOW HE WILL NOT GIVE IT TO ME.Desired Settlement: I REALLY DO NOT WANT ANYMORE DEALINGS WITH THIS GENTLEMEN. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY MONEY BACK. IF HE WOULD NOT DO THAT, I GUESS I WOULD CONSIDER MOVING INTO A NEW HOUSE IF HE HAS ONE ACCEPTABLE.
