On June 1,2019 I entrusted EZ movers out of Lithonia GA to move my items due to relocating to another city. I was under the assumption that this was a professional moving company since it was listed on the Uhaul website as an entrusted company but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The two individuals that came one went by the name of G-money and the other individual didn't state his name which already appeared shady. Needless to say when packing up the truck they damaged my headboard causing it to get scratched and broken along with some other furniture in which I sent to the owner ***. I have text Mr. and made attempts to contact him to resolve the matter and the calls/text have went unnoticed. If someone is running a business it is their responsibility to make sure who they employ is capable of moving customers without damaging their items! Prior to the move the items weren't damaged and after the move it should have been in the same condition so at this point I need a replacement headboard to cover the damages and the cost to fix my other furniture.
Replacement I would like for Mr. to be a professional about the situation and replace the items that were damaged being that it was his company that performed the move. I would like a response instead of being ignored I mean if you are a so called professional then handle your business accordingly. I entrusted EZ Movers with my items but unfortunately the end result was damaged furniture and not to mention I had to bring to one of the guys attention to read the labels!
I have spoken with the actual customer initially and told her that in order for me to do anything as far as replacements I would need Receipts and documents stating how much this item was worth and I also have pictures from when the customers mother called me being very rude and irate and I told the mother the same thing I've told her daughter which was I need documentation stating the items cost and then we can go further but I believe the mother just wants me to give her money which she stated over the phone but that's not how my business is run! So until these documents are presented we are at a stand still! Have a blessed day! And if you need proof I have text messages and recorded phone calls of our conversation! Thanks and be blessed!
