EZ Moving Company

The owner scheduled the move for 8am 10/9/17. His employees showed up @ 9:15, and advised they were not aware that my apartment was upstairs. This is information I gave over the phone, when I accepted the quote for $125/hour to move my 2 bedroom apartment to my house. 3 men did the majority of the work, which the owner quoted would take @ 4 hours over the phone. The men continued to complain about being tired and took 5 hours to load my items which were already pre-packed. During this process, 1 individual continued to complain and stated that he doesn't work for the company and was helping them out, as he argued the entire time with the lead guy. I called the owner because there was little progress and he came over until they were packed up. They took a 45 min lunch break and met me at the new house with my items, after they originally told me they were tired and wanted to hold my furniture until the next day. When they arrived, the 2 continued to fight for over 2 hours. The lead guy continued to call the owner to complain about the other worker. I have pictures of them down the street from my home and only 1 person half working. I called the owner again. He advised he wouldn't charge for 2 hours. This wasn't helpful because they were already well over the time they quoted and with only 1 person working minimally(the owner's son ***), there needed to be far more adjusted. When the lead brought in my leather couch, he ripped it across the front. I immediately called the owner again and he spoke to his staff. He advised he'd fix it. I advised him that because this is a leather set, if he fixed it, it wouldn't
match the love seat. He requested that I allow him to try and if not he'd replace it. I called a week later to no avail. 2 weeks later and he didn't return my call. I spoke to him 1 month later & he was rude & unprofessional, & told me he doesn't have to match the set. He continued to interrupt as I asked questions, and said it would be another week before my couch is repaired
