My experience was absurdly ridiculous and extraordinarily disappointingWhen I arranged my move back in April, I let *** know that this was a state to state move and that I would need to fly into Atlanta to meet the movers at my storage unitI called again about two weeks before to ensure that this fact was understood and that the movers would meet me on the right date and timeI let the person know that since I was flying in, the timing was of extreme importanceOn July 1, the day before, I received a call from logistics and informed that my movers would meet me at my storage facility between pm and pm on July Then on July at 11:am - minutes before they were scheduled to meet me - I received a call from a woman telling me that the movers would now be there between pm and pmI was highly upset and I told her that this was incredibly inconsiderate of my time and the other things I needed to do related to my moveUnfortunately she was very rude and over-talked me and cut me off many timesI told her that I really needed the movers to adhere to the move time that they had originally givenShe said, "Well, it's not going to happen ma'amSo I can either tell them not to come at all or they will be there between and It is up to you." I told her that I had to fly into Atlanta to meet them in the first place and that I obviously do not want to cancelBut I asked her to guarantee me that the movers would be there by pmShe said "Yes, I guarantee they will be there between and pm
At 4:pm I received a call from *** - one of the movers - telling me that by his GPS, he would be at my location by 6:pmI was extremely upset and I told him that this was extremely unprofessional for you all to keep changing the times like thisI let him know that I had flown in to be thereAnd these time changes were throwing off my whole processHe said he was just the mover and that he is not responsible for the logistics and that he would be there as soon as he couldBy 6:pm, *** was still not thereI called him and he said he was minutes awayI admonished him to please reach me as soon as possible because I did not know that time the storage place closed*** got there at 7:The storage facility closed at pm
Because of an almost hour delay from your company, I was unable to move my thingsI don't have the money to fly back to Atlanta any time soon to get my furnitureMy entire day was wasted while I was waiting and I was unable to complete other move-related tasksI had to fly back to Washington without any expectancy of when I will be able to get my furniture leaving me in a predicament I now have to resolveFrom the start I explained how important the timing was for everythingI told ***, I told logistics two weeks out, I tried to tell the lady who called me and would not listen, and I tried to tell the movers themselvesAnd as a company in the MOVING business, I would think that you all would know how important your client's time isI was treated as though my move and my time was of little importance to this companyI did my part and "EZ Moving" company failed to do their partWhile I DID receive a refund of the $deposit that I paidHOWEVER, my move situation still has not been resolvedIt is so unfortunate that they have placed me in this situationI feel that they should pay me back the over $I spent flying into Atlanta and give me back the eight hours of waiting and time wasted

In my lifetime so far, I have moved times, which required storageNever have I experienced such a TERRIBLE moving job as with EZ Moving and StorageTwo men arrived days late in a beat up truck in the afternoon before my house closing the following morning to pack and move my entire houseImpossible from the very beginning, short on labor, short on packing materials, short on experience and careThe job was finished early the following morning only a few hours before closingBy then things (lamps, pictures, etc.) were barely being wrapped at all before being hurled on the truckSuffice it to say that there was THOUSANDS of dollars of DAMAGE and LOST ITEMS by the time my belongings came off the truckWater damage, smashed pictures, broken chairs, the list goes on and on
The way our belongings were treated and arrived was nothing short of vandalism and theft Please, help me feel that all this abusive loss will show other consumers NOT to use this company

Worst experienceEstimate was for $Then upon arrival and before loading, they informed us it would be $because we had more than expectedWe did have more boxes, but two less bulky furniture items and not twice the amount of stuffWe said "fine, we are trying to get moved"Not happy about itThen all loaded, they informed us that it was going to be $4400!! We were in shockWhat could we do? We signed off on it and we will discuss it with their managerIt gets worseSo, after going around and around with dispatch and **, the manager, we settled for $Still not happy, but we wanted our possessions backalmost two later our stuff arrivedAnd, It arrived smashed and brokenWe still paid the full amountWe got no offer to refund our money nor an apologyJust a " call this number to file a claim"We filing a claim, which is a pain and very time consumingIt has been over a week for me to compose myself enough write this review
Not only do I not recommend this company, I plan on filing complaints and poor reviews as much as possible in hopes that it will save others in having to go through this

On May 3rd 2016 my wife [redacted] called EZ Moving And Storage [redacted] for an estimate for our up coming move to [redacted]. [redacted] spoke with [redacted] a associate for the company whom sets up the moves. [redacted] promised [redacted] after several phone calls that he would be walking us through the move from start to finish. [redacted] also quoted me a price of $1760.00 minus a discount of 15% 264.08 and another cupon for 100.00 total move quoted at 1396.45 and my down pmt of 349.00 the total $1047.45 for the whole move. pick and drop! When the movers came and finally finished they charged me 1750.00 they milked the whole job and ripped me off and I still do not have my stuff. They keep refuesing to give me a delivery date. Upon delivery they want an additional $1587 + now there is storage fees on top because there wherehouse is in [redacted] ad we are in [redacted] .They told me I had 250 items which was a lie.
We were not able to reach [redacted] after trying many time to call and several emails. In June when [redacted] called to verify the move [redacted] said to call dispatch [redacted] or [redacted] and not him. This was the last contact we had with him. Only we had was with [redacted] and [redacted] was very nasty on the phone and sarcastic. I had recieved a call on the 25th that they woud be there on the 26th by 4 pm which was a lie.
[redacted] was told that the move needed to be on July 26th at 8am so that we could get on the road to [redacted] right behind the movers. This did not happen!! On the paper work it stated 28-29 which I called and told them it was wrong in a voice mail. He said in a email he would change it in the system which was false information. The movers did not show up until July 27th at 11 am in he morning completing the job at 7 pm at night. Because they were late and had no ramps or dolly to lift any of the items listed. The truck was too small and had other peoples stuff on it.
I was forced to find another place to stay on the 26th which cost me $150

This was the worst experience of my life. I got quotes from multiple companies. I settled for EZ Moving and Storage because they gave me a good price (not the most expensive but not the cheapest), they were very responsive on the phone, and had flexible moving dates. I put in my deposit and never heard from the sales rep, [redacted], again.

The business was supposed to call me on Thursday to set up a 2 hour window on Friday to pick up my inventory. I did not receive a call and I was calling the office repeatedly with no answer. Eventually, [redacted] texted me and I asked him if there was a scheduled pick up window yet. He told me that dispatch as well as the owner of the company would call me immediately to remediate the situation. I did not hear from either. At about 4:55pm, I received an email from [redacted] saying my pick up time was 3-6pm on Friday. When I first scheduled this move, I was told the pick up window was very flexible and they will work with me to figure out a good time. [redacted] told me that dispatch would still call and confirm the pick up time. I never received a call.

I waited patiently on Friday and at 4pm I started calling every number I had associated with the company. I know dispatch and the office close at 5pm and if I didn't have any word then nobody would answer (not that people answer regardless). I called the office approximately 50 times. Eventually someone answered and I asked for [redacted]. They responded with who is that? I asked if it was EZ Moving and Storage and they said no this number was an insurance company. I checked the number multiple times against the texts I received from [redacted] and the calls I had previously received. I continued to call but nobody would answer the phone. I had googled the [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] and called all numbers associated with EZ Moving and Storage. None of the companies had my inventory/ name on file. I was not in the systems. I looked up this company by the DOT number and learned their official name is EZZ Moving and Storage. The other EZ Moving and Storage company were professional and responsive.

I got hold of dispatch around 4:50pm and they told me the driver wasn't going to make it by 6pm but he should be there by 11pm after his job. They gave me the drivers name and number. I called him and he said he will come after he finishes his current job. He told me he needed me to text him my address and he would call back with an ETA. He never called me back and I waited at my apartment until 10:30pm calling him. Around 10:30pm, I got in touch with him and he asked if he could come the next morning. I begrudgingly said that was fine but he had to come by 8am because I had to travel across the country. He said he would definitely be at my house by 8am. I started calling him at 7:30am to make sure he was coming. I did not receive an answer. I called every company number I knew and nobody responded. Eventually dispatch called me at 11:30pm and said the driver was just leaving from a city that was 6 hours away.

They arrived at 6pm on Saturday night and were extremely unprofessional and rude. They reeked of smoke and refused to wrap my items properly. They tried to put my mattress in the truck folded and stripped all my nails taking my furniture apart. They were not careful, efficient, or good at their job. After they finish, they left and told me to call the office for a delivery date. They collected the money from me and did their math wrong on how much was put down, due at pick up and due at delivery. Their paperwork was terrible quality and could not be read nor would hold up in a legal forum. When I scheduled the job, I was told I would get my stuff the following Monday. I knew this wasn't going to happen after the experience I had so far and on top of that I haven't been in contact with the office since I put my deposit down.

On Monday, I called and nobody fro the office answered nor did dispatch. Eventually on Tuesday afternoon, I got a hold of dispatch. They told me to wait on hold and they would discuss a delivery date with their manager. They came back and said they would need to call me back. They never called me back and I that happened 2 more times. Eventually, 2 weeks later after I had been calling everyday they said my inventory had made it on the truck and would be here. They told me I would get a call 24 hours in advance of delivery from the driver. I did not expect any calls so I called dispatch everyday. Eventually the driver said she was here and luckily I was home. She told me she was unable to come into my apartment complex with her 18 wheeler. We have a very big complex that has multiple loops so she would not even need to back up. She told me to meet her at the front entrance and see for myself. She said she would need to go rent a [redacted] and shuttle it and it would be expensive or I could do it. I made her drive in and my stuff was all damaged. They said they do not make claims for "these damages"

Very negative experience. Movers broke majority of items. Told us to go through insurance Co and now insurance Co is saying they are not authorized to process claims. We moved in May and it's December and company owes us money for our broken items and still no resolution. Stay away from this company.

Stay Away!DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH Your STUFF under no means necessary![redacted] Van LINES misled us.We thought that they were doing our move.We asked to pay for insurance and the total move that we were told would be $1600 up front. They told us to wait until the day of the move. They asked us to pay $500 towards the move and we did.Close to the move we called and called [redacted] Van Lines to get the time window for the movers...they were hard to reach. We emailed them and they called to say that they would call the day of to give us thr time. The day of the move a dumpy white truck with no lettering...only 2 laminated signs on the doors that read EZ Movers and Storage (they also use the spelling EZZ Movers and Storage). In addition to thr truck was a regular car. All of the guys, there were 5 at first, looked non professional with regular clothes on.Only one guy had a T shirt on that said EZ movers.I noticed that half of them didn't speak English and asked how would my boxes be labeled...I was told it would be taken care of later.None of my stuff was packed by room...random stuff was put in boxes and none of my glass items were bubbled wrapped or put in news paper.Shoes were thrown in boxes with spices and dresses...many items were not boxed at all...just put in plastic tubs/baskets that I had around the house. This explains why I was finding pieces of games, toys from my kids, etc. laying everywhere...the hallways, the stairs, the garage, the yard. Minimal wrapping of furniture meaning top or bottom or no padded, quilted wrapping at all. Everything has I own now has been damaged on down to pictures that were not wrapped...wood furniture scratched, scrapped, dented, etc. I was quoted $1600 and after 3/4 of my house was packed on the truck they jumped the price to $7000. Since I had 2 days to be out of the house and they started vandalizing my furniture as they began to throw it off thr truck... $300 dining room chairs, etc. that were not wrapped, we negotiated to $5000. Nothing was repacked even if it was at all. When I asked for insurance, they crossed out the option for full replacement and said only option 2 was available which was .60 per lb. I told them that would not cut it so they said that [redacted] International could cover me...I called [redacted] the next day since it was after 8pm. These folks said that they couldn't cover me since they need 24 hours notice before thentering move to give me coverage...so [redacted] Van Lines and EZ Movers swindled me from receiving coverge as promised. Then, they left 1/4 of my house and said they didn't have space on thr truck....they came back the next day and still didn't get everything. I had to leave without them packing my entire house as was the agreement. They were unavailable when I tried to complain. They would not tell nor show me where my stuff was so that I could see it. We had to get the police involved to obtain their "real" address to their dumpy office that is not presentable is:
We had to delay leaving for NY 2 days while trying to see all of our stuff that was picked up multiple days...after we showed up to meet the manager [redacted]), he took us to the warehouse that looked. We gave a delivery date of July 8 and we just recieved everything July 19...they were never forthcoming when we would get our stuff that caused a financial burden as a family of 4 with small children. No pots, no pans, no toys, only a couple of outfits....hor rifle. Daily we called to leave messages, daily no response. When thr stuff arrived, the neither delivery person had on a uniform or the shirt...they asked me to sign the paperwork and pay the balance. I told themno...with the mess that I endured to pack and move everything with no other options as I couldn't find detailed another company to pick us a d move us in a timely, last minute decision..I was not about to pay these folks and sign a year paper. The delivery guy called [redacted] who told them to go back to NC with my stuff if I didn't pay them. I told them I would call the police if they thought for a minute utensils they would do that. I told them that I would declare that they were stealing my stuff as I showed them my cashiers check of close to $2,000.00 written to the company. All that I wanted them to do was deliver my stuff and put my furniture back together. [redacted] wasn't having it and told me to call whoever I needed to call. So the police came and read the contract that showed the $3,000+ that I had already paid and the balance. He told them to unpack the truck and they called [redacted] back. [redacted] began to talk to the police who theneed said that he wanted to speak to thr owner...while he waited for her to call back, he told the guys to get busy unloading my stuff and rendering the service or the truck would be impounded as it had numerous visual vioations. The owner called back...but there was nothing she could do.Everything damaged & a lot missing. No reponse as of yet from EZ Movers.
