EZ Weelz Auto Sales LLC Reviews (1)

In response to [redacted] complaint, let me first start by saying I have been in the auto industry since I was 14 years old.  I am 54 now.  I grew up in a well known [redacted] Store.  I was an independent dealer for 20 plus years prior to opening my newest venture, E-Z...

Weelz Auto Sales, LLC in 2015.  I have know [redacted] for probably 20 years or so, as she worked for the local U Post Office I frequented.  I consider her a friend.  that said, I would never sell her (or anyone) an unsafe vehicle.  Especially since her son was going to be driving it.  We purchased the truck wholesale from [redacted]  It had a 4/18 PA State Inspection sticker on the vehicle when we purchased it on Oct. 12, 2017.  ([redacted] purchased the truck from ous on Oct. 12, 2017).  As a dealer, we are not required to re-inspect a vehicle with a current inspection sticker on it.  However, we do have the neighboring dealer, [redacted] (formerly [redacted]  A family owned and operated dealership since 1921) perform all our multi-point safety checks to make sure our vehicles don't have any serious issues.[redacted] and her son witnessed this truck going through its multi-point check (by the first mechanic at [redacted]) the first day they saw it.  The viewed the underside of the truck with me as it was up on the lift when they were here.  They were informed of what it needed and what were were going to fix (or not).  They were also shown the minor rust on the trucks left quarter panel  They decided to purchase the truck, saying, "this is the nicest truck we've seen in the $4000-$50000 range we are shoppin in."From time to time, when someone purchases a vehicle from us, issues develop.  We are always more than happy to help our customers within reason.  This truck, as it was sold after we did our original multi-poiont and repairs certainly was safe.  (Please see Repair Order #[redacted] enclosed).  When she took it to her first mechanic she uses for "her" work vehicles, she claims he said it was unsafe and needed all these repairs, but yet he never put it on a lift? (Her words).  Well how can you determine anything that way.  Causing me to question the validity of his/her claims.  I then tried to locate his place of business to speak with him and could not find it.  No signs, nothing.  [redacted] then informed me that her mechanic operates our of his house. Hmm?  Again causing me real doubt in my mind.Anyway, we addressed her first complaint and made the necessary repairs.  (See RO#[redacted]) .  I actually asked [redacted] to perform a second Multi-Point check by a second mechanic for yet another opinion.  Again, the truck would have passed State Inspection and was safe, short of a burned out license plate bulb.  I even repaired issues she didn't complaint about.  RO#[redacted] ABS issue (not a required inspection item).  She again complained.  RO[redacted] repairs completed.  Every time she has this vehicle "looked" at by another mechanic, she comes up with a laundry list of issues in an effort to get her money back.  (Which may actually be fueled by her ex husband pressuring her, as he came here one day with her "pushing his weight around."If the truck in my opinion was truly that bad, I wouldn't have spent $2219.12 trying to satisfy her every complaints.  (That number based on the enclosed repair orders.  Bear in mind , we get a 20% discount at [redacted] or these repairs would have been quite a bit higher.   That not counting the fact that the cost of the aftermarket power train warranty we pay for and include in our vehicles does not cover any of her repairs.  I made these repairs in good faith.  No charge to her.  And in part because of the long relationship I have with [redacted] as a business acquaintance.I can't do anymore than I haready have.  the truck was safe to start with (or I wouldn't have sold it to anyone) and is even more so now.  All I can offer her at this point is to consign the truck here on our lot and re-sell it for her and give her whatever proceeds it generates.   We were asking $4988 originally (she paid $4250 plus tax and fees .... see bill of sale enclosed).  I think that is the most fair resolve to her problem for both parties.  I you have any questions, please call the nubmer below or email  me at [redacted]Ted M[redacted]E-Z Weelz Auto Sales, LLC
