Hello,

I sent a message through this link two month ago. I requested a call about my storage unit the cost going up and the LIEN fees.

EZ - STORAGE has breached my legal binding contract with them six months after the lease was signed. EZ - Storage did not notify me as of any rent increase in six month 1 year and or the second year. You have illegally increased my unit rent with out any notification.

Ez - Storage - Breached my lease when EZ storage denied me access to pay my bill on multiple occasion. 15 to be exact. When I access the online website I am not able to make MULTIPLE payments.
For example If I would like to use two cards. I cannot because I cannot change the amount I would like to pay on the credit card payment information. The reason why I make TWO payments is because we split the bill and we do this with all bills but EZ Storage.

Ez - Storage - Breached my lease inside the store a few times. I tried to use multiple cards to pay again. I was advised I had to go and pull cash out. Depending on who is the rep on duty.

EZ- Storage contract states that a partial payment does not stop a lien. It does not state YOU CANNOT USE TWO FORMS OF payments and THEY WILL BE rejected.

Ez- Storage lease sates that we have to pay a LIEN fee If we are 30 days late.
EZ-Storage lease agreement neglects to acknowledge and faults of there own and under what circumstances can the fees be waived.

Ez - Storage - has neglected to give me any of my lien paper work that was filed with the state to auction my properties.

I'm requesting that My unit FEE is deducted to the original price and or I am refunded all they additional fee's I paid until. I am legally notified by law of any changes being made to my account. Please CERTIFY MAIL ME

Attn: ***, Revdex.com - Dispute Resolution Analyst We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint. Ms. executed a rental agreement (attached) on January 15, 2018 to rent unit *** at the ezStorage located in ***. Please note that *** is the name that she used when she signed the rental agreement and that is also the name on her federally issued driver’s license, which is required at the time she executed the rental agreement. Please be advised, that we have not received any notification of a legal name change. This account has been reviewed in detail and all rent, fees, charges and increases are pursuant to the terms of the rental agreement and the Maryland Self Storage Laws. I personally began communicating with Ms. on January 3, 2020, when her concerns were escalated to me and I thoroughly responded to each of her concerns from that time to the present. We have communicated back and forth about a dozen timesvia email. Additionally, since it was clear that Ms. was not going to be satisfied with any of our responses, in an effort to end the business relationship, we agreed to forgo the upcoming auction proceedings and forgive her balance due of $1,088.40 if she agreed to vacate the premises by close of business on March 31, 2020. She agreed and signed the agreement (executed agreement attached) on March 10, 2020 and we believed the situation to be resolved. Additionally, she advised that she would be moving the unit out gradually, throughout the month after work. We even gave her a temporary gate code to ensure she had access. We had not heard anything from Ms. since the day she signed the agreement. Please note that while we understand that the current pandemic has disrupted "normal life" for everyone, self-storage has been deemed an essential business in Maryland and ezStorage remains open. At no time, did Ms. contact us to discuss the situation or request an extension. We did however reach out to her on March 26, 2020 to "check in" and see if she was on to move out per the agreement she signed on March 10, 2020. She responded with an email indicating that she would not be moving out due to the current situation and making some additional demands. I personally responded and offered to extend the agreement of forgoing 3 months of rent (January, February and March) and extending her required move-out date if she paid the rent for April and May. I sent an email and the updated agreement (revised agreement attached) to her for signature on March 27, 2020 and again on March 29, 2020 at 6PM when she emailed that she could not open the file. We have not received the signed revised agreement and we have not heard from Ms. regarding the agreement. Jill FVP of Operations *** Direct
