I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved
Sincerely,

Shortly after we installed the liner in the summer , the pool was losing waterI hired a diver examine the swimming pool and he found a leak in the bottom drainThe diver then plugged the main drain and the water stopped leaking out of the pool The diver charged me $ to perform the
work and mrHume's would not reimburse us .*** *** at that point paid the balance of the contract that was owed in full .In the early fall*** *** stated that the pool was losing water again so I told him to contact the diver to do another examinationHe refused.I cannot be responsible for finding where it's leaking. It could be in the light, plumbing , step or liner.I stated that we would pay for the diver fee only if he found a defect in the liner seamHe refused

this company has an honesty problem.they did send a diver to find the leak.they told me there was none he put a plug in the main drain without telling anyone so he could get paidthe pool was losing water all summer.the reason for replacing the liner was because the pool was almost empty in may when I opened it.the owner was to pressure check the main drainwe discussed it was the liner or the main drain so we replaced the liner and he was to check the main drainthe pool is now below all openings and can only be the liner my diver checked all that could be checked.the owner does not return calls or answer emails which is why I contacted you and consumer affairs which currently has an open case

"We at Poolfection wrote out a contract which showed, in detail, the work to be performed along with the breakdown of payments and the total cost for the job completed. The customer signed this contract on April [redacted], 2017, prior to any work being done. Once we received the signature, deposit, and...

liner colour choice from the customer, their pool was then measured and an order was immediately placed with our manufacturer. Once the liner was made, we proceeded with the installation and began work on April [redacted], 2017. The customer provided us with a check for the liner installation on April [redacted], 2017 and the next day signed a form authorizing us to add $350 to the contract because they wanted an LED light instead of a regular 500 watt light. This authorization form also showed the original total cost for the job that they had agreed to. During the month of April, we had 7 days of rain which unfortunately delayed our entire list of all installations and services to be performed by that amount of time. Despite this unforeseen circumstance, their installation was still completed on May [redacted], 2017 – a mere 10 days from the start date. The job was done perfectly and the customer provided us with a check for the completion payment on May [redacted], 2017. It was only after the job had been completed that the customer then stated they wanted the fiberglass steps to be covered with vinyl. Unfortunately, fiberglass steps physically cannot be covered with vinyl liner because they are not structurally made for that. The customer was very upset by this and claimed (very loudly and aggressively) that we were robbing them, con artists, and charging them money that was not agreed on. To reiterate, the total cost and payment details were listed on the original contract that was signed by the homeowner prior to any work or money exchanged, and they were listed again on the agreement they signed on April [redacted] 2017 in order to authorize the change of light."
