In June a tree in my yard damaged my home as well as my neighbor's This company was contracted my by neighbor to cut down the remaining tree and remove the debris I was unaware of this and came home to their equipment in my backyard I provided my insurance information trying to be fair and pay the company for their service I never signed a contract with this company When my insurance company requested an itemized breakdown for the outrageous fee the company requested, the company representative became obnoxious He came to my door threatening to place a lein on my property and freeze my bank account if payment was not released When my claims agent again spoke to the F&O representative as to how he arrived at the requested amount, the representative said he billed my homeowner's insurance and my neighbor's for the same amount THAT IS DOUBLE BILLING This company is running a shady operation and NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESSI am pleading with anyone else who has been railroaded by this company to register a complaint While I do not know the amount the company received from my neighbor's insurance, the company received over $5,from my insurance company I am a disabled senior and have never experienced anything like this before
We made an appointment for Porters to come clean our carpet and they did not showWhen I contacted Porter's they said they had a flood problem that they had to do first it took priority over my scheduled apptI was notified less then minutes before my scheduled appt that they would not be coming(they left a message on a cel phone, that I did not receive)My furniture is moved yet I am not going to receive service, now what? They want to reschedule for another day, I think not! Not reliable!
