First I want to say how sorry I am this happenedI understand there is not an excuse for it to take this long to get out and stain a fenceIt did not take years like the customer is stating and I was not contacted but twice about this problemI had spoken with Mr [redacted] the morning that his wife felt the need to go and file a complaint about myself and my companyAs a matter fact we spoke before hand and got it all worked out but she still felt the need to insult me and my companyI told Mr [redacted] that I would be out to get it stained the following week because of all the rain and he said that was fine with himWhy his wife feels it is necessary to call me a coward and state that I take people's money and run is very poor on her behalfI went out Wednesday March 18th and stained the fence so I hope this is resolvedThanks and I hope this clears everything up
[redacted] : [redacted] called, requested a quoteI went out, gave her a quote and she was in a hurry to get the fence installedShe stated she had several people come out and quote this for herI responded to her to give her a price, start date as long as she had everything approved through the HOAShe stated she wanted the staining done, I explained the stain would NOT be done until a later dateShe stated she understood, we explained that she had the option of paying for the stain at a later date She signed the contract when we told her the stain could be paid for at a later date but the fence you pay for when the installation is completeThe day we came to install the fence the breaker tripped so we used the neighbors powerMsVelez left a check for us the next day paying the balance for the fence ALL BUT $b/c she didn’t have a KEY to her own house and had to get a lock smith to come out and open her front door because the garage door was on that breakerWho doesn’t have a key to their own house? With the breaker tripping I notified her with this info, earlier in the day by textI think most of this complaint is because she wanted us to give her neighbor most of the charge for the stain and her a discounted price, and she was mad because we wouldn’t agree to thatSo that’s why she had someone else do the stain, the neighbor had already paid HER CASH for the stain, as far as we know she still has his money As far as the contract goes, we hand write all our contracts with the footage that we measure, where the fence comes off he house at, the number of gate and the lay of the propertyOn the contract it states the style of fence and the height of the fenceThis helps with all the HOA paperwork and its self-explanatoryWe have a lot of customers that are very pleased with this documentation because other companies DO NOT do this Sorry she was not pleased that we wouldn’t except payment for a fence completion, months laterThe stain is a separate charge, but the fence completion and the stain are to separate thingsShe spoke with me several times, I explained everything to her and thought she understood thisIf she had any questions she could have felt free to ask me about it Thanks, [redacted]

Sorry she was not pleased that we wouldn’t except payment for a fence completion, 2 months later. The stain is a separate charge, but the fence completion and the stain are to separate things.
