Hello! A month ago I walked in the Family Medical Center: Adams [redacted] DO. As my English is not so good I asked the office representative to check out if my insurance is in network with the provider Dr.Charles [redacted]. She took my insurance card and after a while came back and told that they are in network. I scheduled two appointments for my both kids for the next day. A week ago I received EOB from my insurance, it says that I am responsible for the whole amount (465$) because the doctor is out of network!!! He is in network but he is not in the plan. Can't understand why I should responsible for these bills??? The insurance card contains the information about the plan. When I spoke to the manager suggested to set up a payment plan. If I knew from the beginning I would never schedule these appointments. Don't know what to do and don't want to be responsible !!!
