MiL was also scammed in th o buying a vacuum. It just fell apart, literally fell apart. She is also an elderly person, who I believe was taken advantage of. Contact # is disconnected. They deserve zero stars.

Bought vac. 3-12-13. Biggest pile of crap I've ever seen but unfortunately realized too late. Like many others the cheesy bearing set up in the brush rollers melted and locked up. I guess you need to use a cheap vac first so this thing can work in a clean environment....I am mechanically minded and was shocked at the internal build quality and internal lack of structure to this thing. People like these at first because they work reasonably well. Once you log a few hours though, watch out. A wheel carriage broke. The cord hooks break off, the filters are insanely priced and again, now the roller seized! It's going to the curb. $2,000 flushed down the s*r. Pass on this junk!

I have to say that I was skeptical the day that Sam from the Allergy Relief Center was to come to our home to demonstrate the Filtropur product. My husband saw in our local paper a blackjack card and you could win a prize, so my husband called the number listed and set up the appointment. He told me that someone was coming to clean out our heating ducts. What a surprise I had when Sam came into our home with a air purifying system along with a fancy looking ‘vacuum cleaner’ and a silver furnace filter. Sam arrived at around 7:30 pm, after getting lost trying to find our house. We listened to her demonstration on all three of the Filtropur purifying systems, and I have to say we were very interested in what she had to offer. At 12:30 am she left and we were the proud owners of all three Filtropur systems, and house cleaning has never been more fun. Sam was very personable, easy to ask questions to and for being that late in the evening she never once spoke of being tired or of the time being late, she was always a professional. After having the Filtropur air purifying system running continuously in our home for approximately two weeks, we started to hear a funny buzzing or zapping sound when it was running on the quiet setting. This happened on a weekend, so we cleaned the little wires with the pipe cleaners as we were instructed to do, but zapping noise kept on. On Monday afternoon at approximately 1 pm I called Sam and told her of our findings of that particular machine. She said she would make a phone call to someone at the office in Omaha and we would hear from them shortly. By 4 pm that afternoon we had a new Filtropur air purifying machine set up in our living room in our house. How fast and amazing was that!! Especially when we live 3 hours from the office, it just so happens that someone was headed our way with a new delivery of these machines to our area. Still, that is great customer service. Like I mentioned before about it being fun to clean, I am now wanting to clean with the Filtropur ‘vacuum’. Where I never cleaned house before, I am now doing so. It is so easy, and so much fun to see just how much ‘stuff’ you get off of your furniture, bed, and floors. I am impressed. Thanks Filtropur, I am hooked on your products!

Oh my goodness I love my filtropur system. I had a presentation from a nice young man named, [redacted], and he was the nicest gentleman. My husband normally doesnt like to get roped into home presentations but I am so glad he did for this one because my home hasnt looked the same since I got it. I was cleaning every other day and now I might do it twice a week. We purchased 2 air purifiers and I noticed in less than a month that the dust in my home had dropped dramatically. I dont have one of there high tech measuring systems but I know if I dont have to dust as much throughout the week and with this system I barely have any dust my tv, furniture, or nick nacks. This is so great because I am allergic to dust mites, and pretty much everything else. Thank you so much FVS and [redacted] for saving my home.

This is a scam!!! We recieved a card stating $10,000.00 grand prize play a hand of poker over $250,000.00 in prizes we scratched off the poker hand we got 4- ace's with 1- three.We called to claim our prize 3 appointments were made no show each time 3 times a different excuse so they said we won a digital camera the lowest prize offered they told us they would send it in the mail 3 weeks later still no camera . Don't waste your time this is bad business be on the alert they claim to be sponsered by broadview hts. Filtropur FVS, Inc. practices unethical and unprofessional sales designed to prey on Senior citizens. My 87 year old mother was convinced by their door-to-door salesman that if she purchased their vacuum cleaner is would restore her health and vitality. He also took her almost new Kirby vacuum stating that he would "take it off her hands" and was not offered any credit in return. She wanted to discuss the sale with her children, but was told it was a one day offer only and he didn't have time to wait until she could talk with her children. After she agreed to purchase the vacuum, she was told she had to change the filter every time she vacuumed and could only purchase the filters through him. She was offered a free Enviiro Breze and when he never brought it to her, she went to the address listed on her contract. It was an empty building. All phone numbers were disconnected. I have addressed my complaint to Filtropur FVS, Inc and they have ignored it completely. I would never recommend this company and feel their sales agents should be held accountable for the hard pressure and deceptive sales pitch they are taught to use on Senior citizens.

I love my air cleaner. my vac is awsome! I had a great sales person, reordering filters was easy.

We have had the vacuum and 2 air filtration systems for several months now and I am excited to say that my son, daughter, and wife all have felt relief from their allergies. My family: wife, 2 sons and daughter, live in a modest ranch style home with 4 cats. My daughter is allergic to pet dander and my wife and eldest son are allergic to dust. It used to be a sneeze fest in the winter with us all cooped up but this year it’s been nice. Just like Steve said, it’s like breathing fresh air INSIDE.

I would also like to thank Steve George and his crew for taking care of us, we had a couple of issues with our equipment and they have really stepped up to make sure we are happy and that their products are living up to standards above and beyond. I have visited the office a few times and it always feels like I’m hanging out with friends.

Review: yes its a health issue. It is my vaccum. If it is not working I have problems. I own my own daycare and have my own children in my home. My son has asthma issues. We were convinced to buy these products for them. That it would save us money. About 1 yr in we get a recall on the purifier we bought. Never got a box that we were promised so that it could be fixed. The vaccum. Every time I have to dump the holder I have to also dump the head because not all of the dirt goes in the vaccum. And if I am not careful I will dump it all over my floor. We were told that the filters were very inexpensive. I am now being told they are about 300.00 every yr. For the job that my vaccum does. And the purifier in the closet I might as well go every yr and buy a new cheap vaccum. Might do the same job. And not have a chance of the purifier catching fire or the vaccum dumping all the dirt I just picked up all over the floor. I am tired of wasting my money on filters. I feel I waisted 2000.00 on junk. Between hospital bills and other things I can not afford filters.Desired settlement: I want my money back. And I want it known to other families in my situation not to fall for this con. It is very expensive stuff. And they do not do any better of a job then just buying a broom.

this is clearly a service issue with the distributor in fort collins, colorado not with us the manufacturer. The complaint should be sent over to tva, llc. 113 coronado court building 14 a2 fort collins, colorado 80525. I already contacted [redacted] to let her know that we will take care of the problems with her units. We are sending out 2 boxes today, 2/27/2013, postage free, and will be including labels to send the units back to us. We will take care of the recall on the air cleaner and find out why the vacuum is clogging. They will then be sent back to [redacted] as soon as service is completed.

Bought the trio of units.

All three went into the trash in the first 6 months.

The vacuum would not pick up even seeds from an elm tree. Just pushed them around.

The air cleaners, one was put in trash due to failure of the first and I valued my home from catching on fire.

Trying to work with local rep failed as well as working with Dallas HQ.

I just got another phone call asking me to purchase more filters for something that has been repeatedly reported as trashed. Been over three years now. They will not leave me alone.

Last November I was contacted to see if I would be interested in a demonstration of an air purifier. My neighbor and I welcomed Spencer in and then really enjoyed learning about the products he was showing us. So much so we entered into an agreement to buy 2 air purifiers, a vacuum, and 2 furnace filters.

Since I smoke, have a dog, have many house plants with wet soil and of course cooking odors, a closed up house can be, well, smelly. It’s quite enjoyable to enter my house and not smell all of these odors.

Spencer is a very good spokesman for your products and your office staff has been very helpful when I needed information.

I would recommend them to others in needs of your products.

I love my air sanitizer system! If I ever have the extra money I would positively buy another for the basement! I feel like I’m walking on a beach after an afternoon rainstorm when I walk into the room. I sleep much better and feel more rested! Love it!

I have owned my Filtropur Sanitizing Air Filtration System over a year now and I could not be happier with this product. If I feel a certain room in my home has stagnant air in it, I place my nit in this room & close the door. I’m amazed how clean & fresh my house stays with no cooking odors even in my open concept home. As a nurse, I think it would be very helpful for those with allergy problems.

A Month or so ago I purchased two SFS Air Cleaners and a Filtropur sweeper from your salesman, Jason Jenkins. He is such a pleasant young man; so well-versed in indoor-air quality. I would venture to guess that he is the perfect salesman- knowledgeable, young, but with the smoothness of a seasoned sales rep. I never had the feeling that he was parroting a scripted presentation.

I want to tell you how much better we sleep and how much more refreshed we feel each morning. My husband has dust-related allergies with the usual sneezing, coughing, and snoring that accompany them. Now, there is only an occasional sniff, which is more habit than need, I think.

We have indoor/outdoor cats, but between the room units and the Filtropur sweeper, no one would guess if they didn’t notice the presence of an actual cat. (No, cat dander had never bothered my husband.)

Review: My husband had gotten one of their system. First of all, their Air Purifiers are too loud. Second of all, their Air Purifiers had caused my youngest daughter to get a nose bleed. Yeah, she has had them before. But, they didn't start acting up again until we had started using them. Their filters are way too pricey for the Air Purifiers. Their vacuum cleaner is a piece of [redacted]. It does not do the job that they said it would do. Our Miele vacuum cleaner did better than their system. Their saleswoman that had came to our house had said that they were the "top of the line" but they are not, because their vacuum breaks down too easily. Their vacuum cleaner breaks down too easily, because the end caps melt down by the brush. They want to replace the brush with a wooden brush. That is just weird. They claimed that the reason why the vacuum cleaner had broke down was because of our two dogs that we have. I think that they should give people more than three days to try out their system. Like, 30-60 days. Because, a lot of people are finding out that their system breaks down too easily. Also, last month on the 27, we had sent our vacuum back to get it fixed. Well, they still have not sent it back to us. So, it is going on a month of not cleaning our house. That is disgusting. They promised us an Oreck vacuum cleaner in place of their system, until they got the other one fixed. We haven't received the Oreck vacuum cleaner. They bash other products. That is just distasteful. Honestly? I am very unhappy with their product and I want out of the contract because their system is not worth $3,000.Desired Settlement: I want $4,000 to pay off the system that they had sold us, a brand new Miele vacuum cleaner, and out of the contract. It is wrong that they are making us stay in the contact, especially since we have not even started paying on the system. How would they like it if they had a product that didn't work, but had to make payments on it?

Consumer called. April 27, 2013 sent vacuum to this company for repairs. Company has not returned the vacuum. Consumer received used Oreck from the company two or three weeks ago. Told consumer they could keep it. Consumer is not satisfied with this. Company only sent one bag.
