This company is rediculous!

Enclosed is a copy of the flyer distributed at the local Winefest. Written at the bottom of the flyer is“Subject to company rules” and “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY”. The word “Free” does not appear onthe flyer as stated by Ms. [redacted].Upon calling FWP to receive her complimentary turkey or ham, Ms. [redacted]...

was explained thecompany rules. She agreed not to comply with the company rules. Thus no certificate was awarded.I do not understand Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. I am sure she does not want us to break companypolicies just because she doesn’t agree with them. This flyer has been in circulation and has been used by our company for over 30 years. This is thefirst complaint we have ever received on this flyer. A complimentary ham or turkey for just lookingat a product and giving an opinion on it has been by far our most popular form of advertising.Ms. [redacted]’s resolution is to “include the fact of the demo being in exchange for the prizes”. Icontend that it is already included, as is explained upon the phone call to FWP.Sincerely,Joe G[redacted]

A very polite company. The woman on the phone explained that they do promotions to help get advertisement out for their company. They come out and let you know about them and ask you to tell people if you do like the products, and I got a gift just for listening to them without having to buy anything!

Review: Flyers distributed at local Winefest with flyer being a secondary of a cash drawing. We passed on putting our names in for drawing then he handed each of us these flyers saying basically here, at least you can get a free ham or turkey.

5-1/2"x8" orange flyer with huge turkey on top, real life turkey and ham dinner with fixings images in center.

HI THERE! Your family has been selected to receive a complimentary Turkey or Ham.

To receieve ... from a participating local grocery store in your area CALL IMMEDIATELY! Limited Supply - LImited Time Offer. Must be validated within 72 hours. ###-###-#### (gives days/times).

One coupon per household. Subject to company rules. No Purchase Necessary.

Upon calling was told someone would deliver the coupon and at that time we would be given a demonstration of their products. She (Ashley) explained they sold 'medical devices' including for people with breathing difficulties. They would demonstrate vacuum system. I explained we did not have any issues. She said they would demo and we could simply tell others that did. I said we didn't know anyone with issues which she stated she found hard to believe. At that time I told her I would be glad to sample their product at their location she countered they needed an air sample. I asked her if I was receiving a ham or turkey without an in house demo she said NO. I said the flyer was definitely misleading. She said somewhere it stated 'company rules' which it does at the bottom. At that point I said I would not purchase a product, let alone welcome the company into my house, when they have to use such tactics as saying a free product without saying something about the demo. She said she would not bother to explain the definition of the word complimentary and the company can only fit so much info on a flyer. I pointed out there was a lot of space especially where they repeated the 'complimentary' and 'free'. She hung up on me.

2 others in my group also called and had similar discussions all resulting in 'no demo-no free'. We actually understand how this generally works. Our argument is that this flyer does not point out the DEMO part as a condition. 'subject to company rules' is simply too vague and wastes peoples time in calling. Ashley's attitude and hang up simply points to the fact they know and understand this tactic is intentional. To us it's false advertising in that it's definitely omitting the very condition required to receive this 'free' item. it's NOT free. the cost is my time and opening my house for a demo. The company should have to include that.Desired Settlement: Most people know there is little given for free. But the advertising is definitely misleading. Current and future advertising should include the fact of the demo being in exchange for the prize since that is the ONLY way to receive this FREE COMPLIMENTARY item.

An apology would be nice as well since I am the frustrated consumer and she is the cause of her own grief yet she was snippy and rude enough to simply hang up when I never even raised my voice.

Thank you,

Business

Review: I bought a Filter Queen system in June 2014 from a door-to-door salesman. When April 2015 came, and the unit stopped working, I contacted the company to schedule a service call for the unit which the salesman said would be the normal procedure. The unit was bought to help clean the air my Father breathes everyday. He has congestive heart failure and we thought the unit would help him and it did till it stopped working. Now its November 2015 and I have called the company( even speaking to the costumer support person in the corporate office...Kim Wallace) and scheduled 7 (seven) different appointments. When the day comes for them to show up at my home, they call and say they wont be coming. Now they are telling me the service man wont be in my area till January 2016. I did not spent this much money on something to have this much difficulty with the service process. If the company can sell their product in this area, then they need to service it in this area. I need to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: We want all the money spent on this process returned to us, and We need a new filter for the Majestic Air filtering system.

Review: The salesman, [redacted], advised if I couldn't handle the sweeper or afford the payments he would take the sweeper back. It has broke down twice since the purchase in October 2014. I called the company to return it and was told step by step how to fix it I used it and it broke down again. This is a repocessed sweeper. It is too much for me to handle. When I called [redacted] to return it he said he wouldn't take it as I have already made a payment on it. I feel I was taken in this deal.Desired Settlement: I want to return this sweeper and get out of this deal.
