Fab Auto

On December 6th I got into a car accident and about 3-5 days later Gieco's auto insurance company wrote me out a check with a total of 2298.17. I cashed the check and I then went the nearest repair shop which was located on 4321 Tchoupitoulas St. There was a guy at he front desk named Furnell M who assisted me. He told me to go to another shop called Fab auto in marrero, la to get $500 off of my car repairs. He took my car charged me $1200, got and additional $600 from Gieco for the supplement because my car was under inspected for repair damages. HE had my car from December 17,2019 up to February 13, 2020. during that time Furnell did nit contact me, he ignored my phone calls and texts. When he finally did get back to me he always had an excuse regarding my car not being ready for pick up. Once he gave me my car back it was not repaired and he claimed he repaired what the insurance paid him to repair. Gieco had me in a rental car during this time after January 14 they stopped paying for the rental charges, so the rental company took $215 out of my bank account for everyday I had the rental after January 14th. When I tried to get reimbursed they told me that because my mechanic took so long with repairs the needed info regarding the hold up on my car repairs because they only pay for rentals during reasonable repair time. I then contacted Furnell to see about my car and reimbursement and he told me that he saved me $500 so the rental charges is my issue. I was not aware that Furnell was repairing my car his self and that he was a fraud. I DEMANDED MY MONEY BACK but he refused.
