The client was told at the point of purchase that the coral, while actual coral, has been color enhanced through a process called stabilization This provides a deep red color that would not have been there naturally The sales receipt that the customer received also states that the strand has been stabilized. The customer was not mislead and is welcome to return the necklace for a full refund A phone message to the client was left on 7/27/stating the same information.Let me know if you have any further questions with regard to this matter.Doug S [redacted] Fabri Fine Jewelry

Mr. [redacted],
I apologize for any misunderstandings.  I hope that this will clear up some things for you.  The watch that you purchased (#0606881) was introduced and released into the Movado line in 2015.  The watch is still a current style that is still in production as of today...

2/7/2017.  Not only is the watch in production today, Movado maintains an inventory of this style and can be ordered at any time.  The way that Movado classifies their watches is levels A-D.  This watch style is currently a level 'C' which means that it is currently still being produced by the factories and inventories maintained but will at some point in the future they will stop production.  Currently they do not have a end of production date.  Every 4-6 months the Movado representative will do a complete inventory at our store and remove any styles that have not sold within a 6 month period of time.  They will also re-order any styles that had sold, were still in production, and were our personal best sellers.  When the watches are ordered from Movado we do not open the watches and test the batteries.  An old adage being that if it is not broken do not fix it.  There are occasions that a watch will have the battery die while in our showcases.  The average life for a watch battery is between 1 and 3 years depending on the movement and features.  This does not mean that the watch has been sitting in our case for 1-3 years but that it may have been in Movado's inventory for a period of time prior to shipping to our store.  Fabri Fine Jewelry tries to make this a non-issue by offering our clients free battery replacement for the life of the watch.  This is not something that most stores offer and we feel it is a great benefit to our clients.  As for the pricing of the watch.  The suggested retail for the watch is $1,895.00  The actual cost of the watch is $947.50  This is the price that you paid for the watch.  Fabri Fine Jewelry has decided to no longer carry watches in the store.  There are many gray market sources for all watches on the internet that make supporting a brand in the store no longer possible.  We will, however continue to support any of the watches sold by Fabri Fine Jewelry by replacing watch batteries at no charge to the client.  We will also coordinate any repair work needed with Movado during the warranty period.  The warranty cards that are issued by Movado can be stamped with the store information and will be accepted by Movado for any warranty work as long as the warranty card is dated.  If you would prefer that we write the information by hand we would be happy to do so for you.  If you have any questions or concerns that I may assist you with please do not hesitate to contact me directly.  Our goal is to provide all clients with a positive experience in our store and if we have fallen short in any way I apologize.  I can be reached at 425-453-0373.  Sincerely,  Doug S[redacted], Owner
