Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business...

in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[What upset me the day of the incident was that the pants looked like they were not dry cleaned at all and there was an employee that was smoking a cigarette, I could tell because the employee had a lighter in her hand and the place of business smelled like cigarette smoke.  I asked the employee to call someone, and see if the fee could be waived, because I rather do business somewhere else.  I was not given a choice, but to leave my pants there again or police would be called.  Moreover, I left and the police was called over $6.67.  I was given to options to pay or bring my pants back.  So I really had no choice, but to come back to get my pants cleaned, in doing so, the store was closed, even though the door said it should be opened from 7-7 pm and my watch said 4:08 pm.  So I had to make an extra trip that I really didn't want to make.  Then when I dropped off my pants and explained I had stopped back, but the store was closed, this particular employee denied the whole thing.  This business lacks customer service and don't think the issue was resolved in a professional matter.  I appreciate your time to read this and don't hesitate to contact me with further questions.
Regards,
[redacted]

The customer was unhappy with the de-balling and de-linting of her pants.  She returned her pants to our store and we cleaned them again at NO CHARGE.  When the customer picked them up they met her satisfaction.

Fabricare Specialists of Wi. (FSW) Brown Deer location damaged 20 of my shirts. The shirts all have hole(s) near the collar in the same location. FSW has denied any wrong doing as well as is denying that they have cleaned some of the shirts in question. These are shirts that I wear regularly and have had them cleaned at that location for a year or more. The Owner, [redacted] has not returned my calls to further discuss this matter.

Review: (The below listed text has been copied and paste to this form from a letter I sent to this company regarding this issue to no avail)

I am sending this correspondence regarding damage that was done to three pair of Levi’s 501 button fly denim jeans that I had serviced with your company.

I have been a loyal and faithful customer of your company for the past three years and during that time have utilized your services for professional and casual garment cleaning.

Early August 2014, I dropped off three pairs of Levi’s 501 button-fly (shrink to fit) denim jeans at your 544 W. Ogden Av Suite 600 location. I made it clear when I dropped the items off that they were not to be washed (dry clean only) and to be pressed flat.

I have brought the same jeans to this location over the past three years, as I have ten pairs of these particular jeans, which retail for $68.00 (are currently on sale for $47.00) per pair. I have always made it clear that these particular garments were not to be washed and were to never have a crease. The consequence of washing these particular garments is major shrinkage as reflected in the name of the garments (shrink to fit).

There was one prior occasion where I brought a pair of these denim jeans to your company that were washed and creased when I picked them up. I felt at the time that I had no recourse action so I simply purchased another pair. But in this most recent event I feel that your company should shoulder responsibility since there are three pair of damaged garments.

On 09-04-2014I spoke with your Store Manager [redacted] (###-###-####) who informed me that it is a known fact throughout your company that customers and employees know that these particular garments are not be washed. Store Manager [redacted] also expressed that because of the shrinkage that occurs from washing the Levi’s 501 denim jeans are always sent out as dry clean only.

I have returned the damaged garment to the 544 E. Ogden Av., on 09-05-2014 for your company’s inspection. I have also included a printout from the Levi’s company that illustrates the cost of the product.

It would not be reasonable for me to expect a full replacement cost for the damaged garments, but I do ask for what is a fair ($35.00) replacement cost for each damaged pair and the retention of each damaged pair.

On 09-23-2014 the pants were returned to me and were still shrunk and faded. I was assued by the company that the damage was corrected. The pants looked worse then they did before I returned them for inspection.

On 09-26-2014 Store Manager [redacted] called me to notify me that the store owner [redacted] was taking the stance that the damage to my garments were not from their company's doing and that maybe I should contact the store (Boston Store) where I purchased the garments. I found this response to be offensive and contemptous.

I have tried several time to contact the ownere and have never received a call back from himDesired Settlement: It would not be reasonable for me to expect a full replacement cost for the damaged garments, but I do ask for what is a fair ($35.00) replacement cost for each damaged pair and the retention of each damaged pair.

Review: I went to pick up jogger pants at about 4:00 pm, which I had dropped off a week earlier. I noticed the drawstring was half outside the waistband and hair (Blond and what appeared to be pet hair) on pants. Moreover, it was obvious the pants had not been dry cleaned. Furthermore, upon entering the business I could smell cigarette smoke and the employee had a lighter in her hand...it was obvious she had been smoking inside the business. With both incidents I did not feel comfortable leaving my pants there. I asked for a manager and I was told nobody was available by the employee. Upon my persistence the employee said she could call the phone number on the door. Furthermore, I asked her to call because I had left my cell phone number in the car. The only option I was given was to get the item cleaned again, but by this time I was not happy with the practices of this business and I just wanted my pants back. I ended up leaving the business because no real resolution was being offered that I was happy with.Desired Settlement: I was told I needed to pay $6.00 for the services, which I refused to pay. I would like someone to apologize for the unprofessional treatment and not be charged the fee requested. I feel there were no services to pay for, since pants were returned in bad conditions.

Response:

Review: I took 3 coats to be cleaned, 2 leather & 1 suede coats. I was advised by the employee that the leather coats for each to be cleaned would be $33 and the suede $35. Now it's been two weeks and I hae been given a differnet amount since then but to be told by phone those are not the correct prices either and the cleaining price won't be know until they are sent out. I was alos told the prices in there computor are not the correct prices. I also was offered a $7 discount coupon for each of the of the coats and I was told that I could not use it towards the coats, no where on the coupon does it state it's for a specific item. In between the two weeks I also emaile the coporate office and I have not recieved any response. and I was alo informed I would need $25 deposit per coat.Desired Settlement: I would like the prices I was quoted the first visit along with the discount per coat.
