company sent correct packaging slip with incorrect order, instead of 15 round table cloths they were rectangular with all identical packaging
our order was for our father daughter banquet fundraiser at school so items were dropped off and the decorating crew did open the box but not each individual table cloth package (30) until set up last night(why would we the package slip was correct?)....so regardless of when we caught this ERROR......even though the shipping label was checked upon arrival which reads they are all round...why would I read every package...this is a customer service/packaging satisfaction issue and a packaging error our YOUR COMPANY!!!!
I received complaint ID regarding order# ***. The customer notes that they received 15 incorrect table covers. The customer also notes that all the tablecloths in their order had identical packaging. The customer is requesting a refund for the 15 table covers that were sent in the wrong size. In reviewing the account I am noting that the customer contacted us approximately one week after they received their merchandise. Per company policy,our CSR indicated we would be glad to refund in full but would require that the items be shipped back. We would typically provide a shipping label for such a circumstance. The customer did not agree to send those table covers back as they claimed they had already used them. In essence, the customer is asking for a refund on product they already used. Unfortunately, in order to issue a refund we would require that the merchandise be returned to us. We apologized to the customer for the inconvenience and find it unfortunate that they only realized this issue at the last moment - despite prompt processing and shipping of their order. In regards to the claim that all the packaging is the same, that is simply false. Every package has a clear indication on it whether it is a rectangle or round table cover. Please see attached pics. In conclusion, we apologize for the mispick and understand this customers frustration. In the event it was the wrong product we should have been notified asap and more importantly, it should not have been used. We would then have been happy to refund in full. In the event that in-fact it was not yet used and there is a miscommunication here, we are happy to pay for return shipping as well as refund in full. That said, we cannot issue a refund for products that are not being returned. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

I am rejecting this response because FAULT here is that of the company who failed to check their items before shipping. That is a quality control issue and looking at their reviews is a very common complaint! Yes I opened the box upon arrival and all 30 tablecloths looked the same pre packaged, a week later when delivered to our school for our father daughter banquet and we set up is when all 30 table cloths were opened and realized THEIR ERROR . We had to cut and tape all 15 of the rectangle table cloths to cover round tables so I do not have them to return to the company, we had to decorate that night. Unbelievable response trying to blame a customer that we didn't catch their mistake in time! The face remains their error! Horrible customer service, literally these are under $2 each and all they are trying to do blame me the consumer for not opening the box early enough! What the heck! If they don't credit me I'm disputing charges that are unsatisfactory on my CC. They offer NO RESOLVE only blame. Will never order again for this company.
