I contacted the shop that has the vehicle and they had already disassembled the entire transmission, which voids our warranty. We have honored our warranty under the terms in writing and should not be responsible for an un-authorized repair bye an outside company.

Review: Ordered my transmission and went to their installer. After being given a price for the complete job by [redacted] when I got to the installer Kenny gave me a higher price. This was the transmission installation price it did not include any other parts or extra services. I received a received from the installer for installation but never received one from Factory Engine Exchange. When I called up he said he would email me one. I also asked for the warranty and never got one. A little over 5000 miles later I was having problems and the trans overdrive went out I called them up and they said take it to a shop have them put it on the computer and let us know what is wrong I took it to two different certified shops and they said nothing comes up on the computer. I took it to a third and nothing came up and they said if its not electrical you would need to take it apart to see what is wrong. The opened it up while I was there and we saw torn and crushed seals as well as a missing top clutch plate. They are a certified transmission shop. Well I called [redacted] back and he said you opened it up nothing we can do about it. If it didnt come up on the diagnostic machine you should have let us know. I explained that he said find out what was wrong and he said once another shop touched it all warranties are void. But this is a place that only sells transmissions not services so basically there is no warranty. Also I was to be sold a Phase 2 transmission and the shop said it was a stock trans.Desired Settlement: Just would like to have the repairs paid for since the truck didnt even have 6000 miles on it since the trans was replaced. They said They didnt hear from me since the end of june but money is tight and I couldnt afford to keep having my truck towed from shop to shop to be tested. I paid for a performance transmission and would at least like to be able to drive my vehicle.
