Complaint:
I am rejecting this response becauseI would like to leave my complaint open until issue is completely resolved. I contacted an employee of business and explained the situation. The employee related the message to business owner, Mr***, and he came to look at my floor, on February 1, 2018. Mr*** agreed the floor was poorly installed and needed to be replaced. Since that time, I have been contacted one time as business wanted to remove floor, on same day, with no date to re-install new floor. In fact, business stated they were booked through March 2018, and may not be able to replace with same flooring. To date, I have not been advised if business can obtain same flooring and I feel we should be given a set date to replace/re-install new flooring. In my opinion, I feel we should be placed ahead of waiting list, as we had to wait, in excess of a month, for initial installation. We would prefer a refund, to avoid additional delays and confusion. Business wants to remove floor and have us wait until ??? to re-install. We feel this should all be accomplished same date. We are ready to move back into our home, however, the flooring issue is causing more delays.

Visited Factory Outlet, Inc., on 11/8/2017, selected flooring and scheduled measurement, on 11/11/ Contacted Factory Outlet, Inc., via telephone, on 11/14/2017, purchased vinyl flooring ($924.85), and scheduled installation, on 12/13/ On Wednesday, 12/13/2017, installers arrived, at approximately 5:- 6:pm Husband and myself waited until 8:pm and departed residence Asked installers to lock door upon completion(Note: carpet install scheduled following day, purchased from different vendor)Returned to residence on Sunday, 12/19/2017, to inspect carpet and vinyl flooring Very small house, less than sfVinyl floor, in kitchen, hall and bath, approxsf Vinyl floor had several bubbles (entrance, kitchen and hall), area in front of kitchen pantry was cut incorrectly (tight) and installer made large slit, instead of trimming, to fit correctlyCuts over 1/4" from wall, impossible to cover with baseboard Floor curled, against wall, in several areas S

As per phone conversation with Mr [redacted] on 2/12 @ 11:25am:This issue has been resolved.

Response from [redacted] taken via phone on 2/1/18 @10:16am.Contacted the consumer on 1/31/18 and we are working to resolve the issues.

On 1/10/2018, at approximately 12:30 pm, I received a call from, [redacted], whom installed our flooring.  [redacted] asked if anyone was at our home, as he was in Vidor and wanted to look, at the bubbles, in the flooring.  I explained I was at work.  [redacted] then if someone could...

unlock the home, for him to gain entry.  [redacted] speaks very little English but I related I was unable to leave work and could not unlock my home, at that time.  [redacted] stated he would call again, whenever he was in the Vidor area (could not give specific date or timeframe).  As stated in original complaint, the problems are more than just bubbles.  The floor is cut to far away from wall, and cannot be covered with baseboard, there are slits located in entry, and seam is tripping hazard.  We ask that our monies be refunded, or flooring be re-installed, by an experienced installer, in a timely manner.  We are currently living in an RV, as the floor is an ongoing problem.  Manager is unwilling to cooperate and/or resolve issues. We have attempted to speak, with manager, to no avail.  She has not cooperated since her visit, to our home.  A refund would expedite the process and avoid additional problems and/or delays.  Thank you for your assistance with resolving our issue.
