Revdex.com:

We were contracted to shoot Photography for this Wedding.  The pictures for this Wedding are excellent.  We ordered production of this Album after the client approved the design.  We have email proof of the approval.  I had 3 Albums printed.  The client came in and...

complained that is did not look like what she approved.  The Album was in fact exactly what she approved.  These albums cost me approximately $800 which is why we do not print without approval.  To make the client happy, I had 2 additional sets of prints printed at my expense.  After reviewing all of the images, she agreed the original version was the best.  She is more than welcome to her Albums.  I was so happy with the Album that I ordered a copy for myself as a demo.  It should be noted that we only have 7 demo albums in our office while doing 100+ Weddings a year.  It should also be noted that we put a photo of the Bride in a Magazine.  The reaction was that the Husband was not happy that his image was not used.  I received notice from an Attorney 2 weeks ago and have forwarded it to my Attorney for resolution.  I will gladly show the Albums in question to the Revdex.com for review.  We have gone back and forth making changes to an excellent product.  I feel this client will not be happy with anything we do.  The copy of their album that we demo has brought us many clients.  I would love a resolution to this matter.  I am very happy with what we have produced.  The Albums are available to review upon request.  Thank you.

Review: I initially met with [redacted] (the [redacted] of a Fade To Black) on 6/*/12, at which time we signed a contract for him to shoot my wedding on 6/*/13, and provide me with albums, pictures and thank you notes. Everything went smoothly on the day of my wedding and I was looking forward to seeing the proofs.

When I went to pick up the thank you cards, I realized they were done incorrectly forcing me to make another trip weeks later to pick up the correct ones.

Several months later after selecting which proofs I wanted in the albums, [redacted] called me in to see the finished product. I had received the proofs online but for some reason the skin tone and other colors of almost every photo on the printed pages appeared washed out and gray compared to the proofs, which we had viewed and approved online. [redacted] agreed with us and thought it wouldn't be an issue to bring up the color. After several months and multiple cancelled appointments by [redacted], he had us back in the office to review the changes, which were actually worse than the original images. We again went page by page and noted which images need correcting and again waited several months and accepted several cancelled appointments by [redacted] to see the third set of pictures, which were no better. On 9/**/14, we met with [redacted] and decided to accept the initial submission, over a year after the wedding, and ignore the color issues so we could have our albums. [redacted] was very apologetic and thought we would have everything shortly. He even said he would waive the final payment to make up for all the aggravation he had caused. He even mentioned the possibility of a refund against what we had already paid. That is the last time I heard from him. No albums, no responses to calls or emails. I was even forced to hire an attorney to write a letter on my behalf (no litigation was filed), asking him to produce what was contracted by the end of February 2015 for to avoid being sued. Again no response.Desired Settlement: To get my albums and photos as they were originally presented to me.
