After a thorough review of the events portrayed by the customer, we indeed presented her with paperwork stating that she owed a zero balance. Our technician performed several diagnostic procedures. Scanned for codes, scanned for theft system codes, tested theft module which was working ok at this...

time. Technician also checked fuel pressure and road tested vehicle to obtain operating temperature. Retested fuel pressure, still okay. Advised customer that we may need to see vehicle when acting up. Customer arrived to pick up vehicle, customer was not charged.Ed Brown Company CFO contacted customer today, 11-10-15 and advised customer that matter has been resolved, and due to our internal billing error, there would be no charge. This matter is closed as far as we are concerned.thanks.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Mr. [redacted]'s explanation that my car "was not in very good cosmetic condition when it arrived" is purposely vague. The only damage I am claiming is the glaringly apparent fender area which has been obviously over buffed. Damage I might add was never noted by Fagan prior to the detailing being performed. [redacted] advised me that the damage had been caused previously by acid. A Fagan employee leaving for the day happened to look at my car and casually opined, "It was over buffed." As far as Mr. [redacted]'s contention that this is a "frivolous complant," let me go on record as stating I am 65 years of age, and have never once in my life have I complained to The Revdex.com, nor for that matter ever filed a small claims action. My intention was to permit Fagan to correct their mistake at their facillity. Failing that I am fully prepared to pursue redress through small claims court. Thank you,
Larry [redacted]

I responded to the complaint from Mr. [redacted] with factual information related to the case and stated that Mr. [redacted] had also complained to the WI Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Protection which we replied to also.  I have not received a reply yet with the department’s decision but stated in my previous response that Fagan Automotive will comply with their ruling or supply additional documentation if requested.  Any future correspondence from the Revdex.com will go unanswered as it not necessary for more than one agency to be involved.

[redacted],I spoke with my detail shop foreman and the detailer that worked on Mr. [redacted]s car.  Fagan always strives to keep customers happy and have an excellent reputation in our community.  The employee who worked on Mr. [redacted]s car is without a doubt the best detailer that we have and is...

trusted with some very valuable vehicles that belong to some of our most valued clients.  I have been told that Mr. [redacted]s car was not in very good cosmetic condition when it arrived and we are confident that the damage that is described was on the car before we worked on it and that was explained by my [redacted] Mark [redacted].  I’m sorry to deliver the news and we always lean toward giving our customers the benefit of the doubt, in this case if there was any doubt we would take care of it.  Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint, I’m sure that you sometimes receive frivolous complaints and I can assure you that this is just that.  Please update your files to reflect the change in ownership from James Fagan to Robert [redacted] and I apologize for the delay, the complaint was not received until today.Sincerely,Robert [redacted]

After reviewing the complaint, correspondence, all of the Repair Orders of your visits between 2/7/14-4/20-15, and interviewing the [redacted], I want to extend to you my most sincere apology that you were inconvenienced in seeking a Repair resolution to your brake noise...

issue. According to the complaint, you state that “now the brake noise is completely gone” since your repair on the 4/19/15 at [redacted] in [redacted]. You said they installed new brake pads, and that you had to pay them $105. Dollars. You provided us with a copy of their Repair Order #[redacted], Job #[redacted] for $105.45. I am sending you a check to reimburse you for that amount paid, and an additional $50. For gas expense. Again, I am sorry for your troubles, and happy that you were able to get your brake noise resolved.  [redacted]Fagan Automotive, Inc.[redacted]

Fagan Automotive has not made any financial reimbursement for their miss diagnosis and engine overhaul that should have been an engine replacement in January 2016 as opposed to me having to pay for the new engine myself in January of this year. The new engine cost me over $7,000. This is in addition to the cost of the overhaul cost of $6,000 that Fagan did in 2016. They were incompetent in there diagnosing of the engine problems at the time they worked on it. Their claim is that they did not want to have me pay any more than what was necessary at that time. Well, it did cost me more because of their decision at that time, $7,000 more!

I received the complaint dated 4/3/2017 but
am not aware of any previous correspondence. I am enclosing our response about
the same matter to DATCP which should explain our position. I am also enclosing
copies of our printed and hand written repair orders that include Mr. [redacted]
signatures....

Note the comment on the bottom of repair order 681542 by the
technician that there was 'NO OIL ON STICK'. Mr. [redacted] made no mention of oil
consumption prior to our repair on 1/4/2016 which was the result of the latter repair
that was done at Stark Automotive, our original diagnoses was accurate with the
information provided. We have not received a ruling from DATCP yet which I
believe is the legal path any settlement and we will abide by their ruling. Mr.
[redacted] has sent inappropriate emails to my service employees and sent very
slanderous reviews to our website and social media. Our record with all state
agencies indicates that we treat our customers fairly and take care of problems
as they arise. This is an unreasonable customer and an inaccurate assessment of
the situation who has openly stated that if the State of Wisconsin rules in our
favor he will sue Fagan for incompetence. It appears that he is willing to take
any avenue to satisfy a personal vendetta.

Review: On September 21, 2015 I had my vehicle towed to Fagan because it had stalled. I was under the impression the diagnostics now matter the amount of time was $59.95 plus tax. they had my vehicle until the 24th at which time I picked it up and was told by the cashier as well as my service advisor joe I owed nothing. The next day they call to tell me I owe $187.27 and have been calling me and sending me threatening letters since stating they were going to take action against me meanwhile I have a receipt that states I owe $0.00 they couldn't fix the car they only were able to tell me it was a security issue and the car fixed itself as well as they could not guarantee it wouldn't happen again either.Desired Settlement: my account with them needs to reflect 0 balance as they did not diagnose or repair my vehicle and they told me I owed 0$. they apparently made a billing mistake this is not my fault!

Review: I have repeatedly taken my 2012 Malibu Chevrolet into Fagans for a terrible grinding noise on the front end of the car.

they put in new pads and routers supposedly but the noise continued. Again I brought the car in and told them about the noise in the front end of the car. They chose to change the pads and grind down the routers on the rear brakes.???

The noise has continued for months and each time I took the car in they said that the brakes were fine and that nothing was wrong.

At one point recently they tried to charge me 79 dollars for diagnostics but found nothing wrong.

They later got rid of those charges but said that I needed new transmission lines at about 450 dollars.

this is when I went out to [redacted] Dealer ship in [redacted]. they fixed the transmission lines and said

that there was something wrong with the brake pads in the front and said that I should take it back to

Fagan, as the pads had a lifetime warrantry.

I did so and they refused to change the brake pads saying that is not what was causingthe noise but that some part in the brakes was too tight. So they loosened it.!!!

So I took the car back this Monday the 19th to [redacted] and they replaced the brake pads but I had to pay theym 105 dollars. Now the brake noise is completely gone.

I will fax tomarrow the invoices from both dealerships.

I could have had a bad accident and hurt myself or others if those brakes had failed. They must have been

a bad pair of brake pads or were put in wrong. Fagan did not take care of the problem.

I spoke many times to both [redacted] and the [redacted] called [redacted]

the last time I called [redacted] he said that he wanted to be there when I came in and set the exact day that

I should come in. That was my most recent visit to Fagan. When I got there and asked for [redacted]

they said he was not there. then later they said yes ,he was there???

I am asking for 100 dollars in gas money, 200 dollars for wear and tear on my car, tires, and oil, 100 dollars to pay for the original brake pads, 150 dollars for the rear pads and 150 dollars for the work done on the rear

routers, 100 dollars to pay for the new brake pads, and 200 dollars for my time .

There is no excuse for treating a customer like this. I am 100 percent disabled and I am a senior citizen.

I do not have the needed energy and health to deal with this kind of stress, worry and financial problems.Desired Settlement: I want to know how and why this happened?? I will fax invoices in on Weds and more notes that I took earlier in this circus .
