Unfortunately M** ***s AC system went down during the first major summer heat wave which is beyond our control - we had our techs trying to get to as many calls as they could When our tech went out and told Ms*** he needed a part to repair her unit she instead choose to use
someone who does not hold a contracting license in CT - she says the unit worked better than it ever did however she is saying it’s still not working properlySo this is VERY unclear Our technicians do not know every single installation that we have ever done and he is told to let people know that if they come out after hours overtime charges apply - He was letting the customer beware He did not collect any money from her when he went out to her home and which she choose to get an individual who works on the side and if he is such a good friend raked her over the coals with this invoice ** *** stated that he would reimburse her if she could show him the invoice from a licensed contractor As a contractor we incurred huge expenses like Federal and State income taxes - Sales tax - Federal and state unemployment taxes - workers comp and liability insurance - all of our vehicles letter head or anything type of propaganda that we give to the public required us to have our Name Address Contractor's License number which is also a huge expense to us *** ***on provided us with the attached invoice which seems to show sales tax was charged even however this individual does not even operate legally in CT His labor rate for under the table work is outrageous Yes we were prepared to pay a different contractors invoice AFTER the fact that she would not let us come and try to repair the unit that she claims is still not working however she also states that this individual fixed the problem and it now works better than everWe feel it fair to offer to reimburse her technician hours labor at $50/hr and Rat $for a total of $without sales tax because we feel that he has not submitted the sales tax to the State of CT as required by law

Michael C[redacted] Company Contact Phone: [redacted] Company Contact Email: [redacted] Consumer's Name: [redacted] Revdex.com Staff Member (if you know): CT Complaint Information: We have tried contacting the person on the letter we've received left message without response - we are contacting a board member there to discuss issues We installed the system in January 2015 - and have responded to service calls however the last time we were on site October 2016 it was evident that either another contractor or their own maintenance personnel had been tampering with the boiler and had water spillage all over the boilers main board causing damage - also there were parts that we had installed that were an integral part to the boiler system which had been removed from the boiler. At that time we told them that because others had tampered with the boiler we did not want to get involved anymore. It is hard to try and resolve issues that they themselves create. Also as part of their installation and the contract they signed we clearly state that these boilers, per manufacture, need to be properly maintained. In 3 years we have no evidence that a maintenance by a Connecticut Contracted License [redacted] Authorized Dealer had been completed These are the exact words on the contract they signed: Warranty: 1) One year 100% warranty on installation, labor and materials from date of start-up. Does not include equipment that has been subjected to negligence, accident, or has been misused or improperly maintained. We recommend that you maintain your system with yearly cleanings, please call to schedule 2) Warranty as per manufacturer for parts after one-year period is over. (Labor not included after first year warranty.) We will continue in trying and contacting this customer however we can not take responsibility for damage they may have cause to this boiler The letter we received in our office on Thursday April 5 dated April 3 was the first time we received notification from Revdex.com although Revdex.com's letter says the complaint was submitted on Feb 22, 2018 Thank you
