(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The statement the dealership gave is a lieMy truck is broke down and I can't drive it due to the repairs it needs that would all be covered if I had a warranty but I don't because the dealership failed to send in the contract we both signed and datedThe dealership told me everytime I called that it was going to get taken care of and fixedThat they were going to have it towed to them and taken to there mechanic but it's been since may and nothing has happenedI talked to the warranty company called "C.A.R.S" and they informed me that I am still able to get the warranty when everything is fixed and passes inspectionI would like for Faines auto sales to pay for the repairs to my truck and send my dollars that they have kept since November to the warranty company so it can take effect
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/08/18) */

We resolved the issue and paid the bill

Customer bought the vehicle as isAn extended warranty was purchased to cover any future repairsHowever, Faine's Auto is not responsible for the upkeep of thier vehicleIf customer is not satisfied with the extended warranty they are able to cancel the warranty and get refunded

We were not aware of any mechanical issues regarding this truck at the time of purchaseAny alterations/modifications the customer agreed upon at the time of sale

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/09/05) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I
don't agree it is not their responsibility to pay for the repair of the radiatorIf they would have processed the warranty agreement I would have coverage to get the radiator repairedWhen a dealership receives money for extended contracts or other services it is their responsibility to make sure they have been processed
They need to reimburse for the extended contract and pay me for the repair
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2016/09/13) */
As stated before customer is entitled to a refund however, we are not responsible for the repair of the vehicle
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 16, 2016/09/20) */

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/03/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The salesman called the owner of the dealership Rico
Faine on speaker phone and the business owner stated that they would cover partsThe sales man wrote in the as is agreement that they would cover partsNow that they have received funding from the loan company they are refusing to furnish the parts or the money to acquire them
Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2016/04/11) */

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 13, 2016/04/14) */

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/06) */
The customer did not purchase a warranty. He bought the vehicle as is. However we give all our customers 30 days/1000 mile power train warranty which covers the internal parts of the motor, transmission and rear end. Which we only cover 50% of....

He never brought the vehicle back to us to inspect. He claims he has an injector problem which is not covered under the 30/1000 mile coverage.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mr. [redacted] told me to have the truck diagnosed which I did. The repair shop found multiple problems including 5 faulty fuel injectors. On a diesel truck the fuel injectors are internally lubricated by oil to build pressure so that the injectors will deliver fuel to the cylinder. Mr [redacted] claims that injectors are not internally lubricated. I have had 3 repair shops and the dealership tell me that the injectors are indeed internally lubricated. Mr [redacted] also claims his warranty only covers pistons as he told me, but yet his warranty says ALL internally lubricated parts.

Customer has a signed document which has the agreed upon price which matches what we have here. We are not aware of any other price the customer is stating.

As stated before the truck was in good shape when it was purchased.

Vehicles at Faine's Auto are sold with 30 days or 1000 mile warrantys unless otherwise stated. Such warranty is a powertrain warranty that covers internal motor, transmission and rear end. However, the cost is 50/50 between the dealership and the customer. If [redacted]  has such warranty...

the store would be more than happy to assist her in this matter.

I am rejecting this response because, didn't ask for up keep of vehicle they knowingly passed off a faulty vehicle. just asked to fix, plus I have asked to end the extended warranty and gap ins and still haven't heard from them about refund of 3800 dollars.

Still haven't received my rear view mirror for my car. Revdex.com spoke with owner of dealership two weeks ago, and still problem has not been resolved.

When the truck was purchased it was in great shape. The store is not responsible for the upkeep or any maintenance of any vehicles.

You are responsible for selling safe and reliable vehicles! That is it period!
