The business has responded Please see below:To Whom It May Concern:We take great care to ensure that important matters such as this are properly managedCustomer named, [redacted] , Address, [redacted] complaint # [redacted] , purchased a Dinning Set (table/4chairs) and piece Coffee tablesAs soon as the sale went through we called customer and told her the coffee table set was back order, she was willing to waitTwo weeks later customer received her completed delivery, but she refused to receive the coffee tables, she stated that “she had purchased a new set already”Table set cost and there is a cancellation fee of 35% stated in our policy, we issued a credit of $already to her account, why $because customer agreed to wait for her coffee table therefore we ordered, manufacture charged us 35% cancellation fee, we covered 10%She already had the credit in her accountWe did not hear from her again until now that we received this complaintI have attached you a pr oof of credit to customer account and our store policyI wish to convey my sincere desire to settle this matterI hope an agreement can be made on this situation.Sincerely yours,Store Manager

Dinning Set (table/4chairs) and 3 piece Coffee tables. As soon as the sale went through we called customer and told her the coffee table set was back order, she was willing to wait. Two weeks later customer received her completed delivery, but she refused to receive the coffee tables, she stated that “she had purchased a new set already”. Table set cost 119.99 and there is a cancellation fee of 35% stated in our policy, we issued a credit of $89.00 already to her account, why $89.00 because customer agreed to wait for her coffee table therefore we ordered, manufacture charged us 35% cancellation fee, we covered 10%. She already had the credit in her account. We did not hear from her again until now that we received this complaint. I have attached you a pr oof of credit to customer account and our store policy. I wish to convey my sincere desire to settle this matter. I hope an agreement can be made on this situation.Sincerely yours,Store Manager

Review: On February **, 2012 I purchased a [redacted] Arrondale mattress set from Fair Furniture and was informed that I had a 20 year warranty and if I had any issues within that time I was to contact the store directly. Recently I have noticed that the integrity of the box spring has been compromised and that the mattress is beginning to sink in. I attempted to contact the retail store and was told that I had to come in and speak to them in person. On June ** 2013, my husband went to the store and spoke with 2 salesmen as well as the store manager where they proceeded to laugh in his face and then walked away from him leaving him standing at the sales counter. Upon reaching home we located the original receipt called to store back with the requested receipt number and was told to return to the store. On June **, 2013, my husband returned with the receipt as well as documentation from [redacted] stating that we were to contact the retail store to honor the warranty unless they were no longer accessible and then and only then do we contact [redacted] directly. One Fair furniture representative told us that we would be charged for them inspecting the mattress as well as for the replacement, then another told us that they did not handle the warranty and that once they sold the product it was no longer their problem, another representative told us that because the mattress was on sale, their was not warranty, and then the salesperson told us that the 3 minutes of time that we were allotted to speak with them was up and he proceeded to walk away yet again.Desired Settlement: My husband and I simply request that our mattress set be replaced according to the warranty and agreement made when we purchased the product. We are not seeking a refund or any monetary compensation.

The fist mistake that went wrong with this company was I did not receive my set that I initially had paid for as promised. Moving forward I came to this store and made a purchase on May ** 2015, The sales person that placed my order was Henry. Upon this purchase I ordered and paid in full in cash for 6 piece Queen bed room set (H/F/R, dresser, chest and two night stand totaled at $1700. That included my delivery fee. I received my order on June *-2015 . It was not until about July *-2015 around 12:58pm that my nightmare started with this company when I noticed when I was changing my sheet that I realized that my brand new mattress which I believed was actually refurbished had look like the sewing thread that is suppose to hold strong had a unfortunately started to unravel to the point where the stuffing in the mattress was visible. I decided to contact Fair furniture store and spoke with the sales associate who I had made my purchase with. I explained to him about the problem he did not seem much interested however, I told me to send him pictures of the damage to his cell phone which I sent him totally 3. When he text me back is response was okay not even to say sorry I will take care of this matter immediately. I then contacted him at the store where he also told me that this was a simple matter and that I can still sleep on the bed until the new one was delivered which he did not give me a specifics. Since then I have not being able to sleep on my bed every night but had no other choice but to try to do so. I am still awaiting regarding this issue. My second nightmare started on Sunday July * 2015 around 10:38pm while I was sitting on my bed against the head board doing work on my computer when all of sudden all I hear was a loud cracking noise I then got off the bed to see that the head board with the post on the left end wood had completely separated . Of course I was livid and highly upset and decided to take pictures and forward them once again another issue to the sales associate's cell phone where I wrote him a full detained message regarding the problem. Now moving into Monday morning not receiving a response, I decided to contact the company once again did speak with the same sales associate who then stated to me that he did receive my text but was in the process of calling me but got busy. He then asked me who was jumping on the bed why it broke. I told him that no one was jumping on the bed an that this is my bed only. he then asked me once again to send me a copy of my invoice which I did. Now its almost a week later and I have not received and contact regarding the issue. I decided once again on contacting the store spoke with an employee there who apparently when I do call they never seem to have their customer's information via invoice available in their system always expecting the customer to provide that information . That is ridiculous. During that time he told me that he would have someone to contact me in a few. I did ask for my sales guy that clearly knows about my issue but I was told that he was with a customer. I then decided to send him a text detailed message asking about status of my order. He text me back to say that they had ordered it but was still awaiting on the manufacture to deliver. I said when was that suppose to be? He said they usually receive delivery from that company on Mondays and that once they do that is when he or someone will be in contact with me to set up a delivery time.Unfortunately he did not know at this time. I hang up and decided to call back to speak with the manager /supervisor. I then spoke with the manager Mady he addressed me in a very disrespect tone by asking me when did a place my order? I told him the exact date he then went off to say that he had seen the pictures and he did not seem as if he really cared. I began to explain my concerned that the manufacture quality of this order is mostly old and rotten wood.He then disrespectfully told me if he came had to come out to my home to inspect the wood would I pay for his expenses. Then told him well then I will be forced to bring this matter to my lawyer. His response was go right a head.As of this point all I want is my full refund back. I have to say that is company is a sham and very unprofessional. Please if you are able to solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
