on 10/13/14, my warranty Department from [redacted] a representative ***, called me and stated that the repairs I had to pay for out of pocket on 10/9/14, would be covered under the warranty and that the $I paid to Fair Oaks Auto Repair would be credited back to my card, by [redacted] the owner at Fair Oaks Auto RepairI took the car in the morning of 10/17/14, asked [redacted] about the refund he stated he would do the refund when I picked up the carI got to the shop to pick up my car around 4pm, [redacted] was rude, tossed both receipts at me, and said my key was in the carI asked [redacted] about the refund, he then threw the Revdex.com complaint from 10/9/at me and said" I am not giving you a refund until you retract this complaint and write me a letter of apology, said he was going to sue meSo he is trying to black-mail me for the refund??? [redacted] has now gotten paid twice for the repair of the trans-shifter in my vehicleAnd my check engine light is back on I want a full refundPlus the a full days wages for the time I have had to use to file formal complaints with the Revdex.com and yelp, in addition to days of rental car reimbursementfor a total of $

I want a full refund. Plus the a full days wages for the time I have had to use to file 2 formal complaints with the Revdex.com and yelp, in addition to 2 days of rental car reimbursement. for a total of $374.60

Review: On 10/9/14, I had my car towed there due to it would not shift out of park. My warranty approved shop! on 10/10/14 I had to call the shop several times to get updates if the warranty was covering the part for the shifter part of the transmission assumed it was covered. only to find out it wasn't covered ( completely a another story about [redacted]). I authorized to repair for 168.00, was advised the car would be ready at 430 pm that day. I show up at the shop to get my car around 5 pm, my car is parked out towards the street off the repair shops property. I go into the office, no greeting from employee they just look at me, I say "I'm here for the [redacted], the older gentleman doesn't offer a greeting either. While he looks for the receipt for my over the phone payment, he does bother explaining to me what was done to my car to fix it. I only received the receipt from the credit card machine not a shop receipt with the work preformed. Then he tells me my key is in the car?? Really my car looks automatically after 10 minutes, so I walk back to my car to find it locked, no key, they cant find my key??? after the older gentleman asking another questionable employee the older gentleman discovers my key buried on the counter in the office! The is the worst auto repair shop I have ever been to. I feel I was treated with no respect because I was going through a warranty for the repairs even though I had to pa because the warranty company refused, even though it was covered. This company will also be included in my small claims court case along with [redacted] and their warranty department. Not to include the shop office was filthy, the only GOOD THING ABOUT THE SHOP WAS THE GOLDEN RETRIEVER IN THE OFFICE WITH HIS BALL. VERY SWEET DOG!Desired Settlement: I would like the car fixed to 100%, I have had the car 48 days and it should not be in the shop for any mechanical reasons. Not to mention the check engine light is on too.

Review: Poor workmanship with the mechanics did not understand when you tried to talk to him perform this job duties was not completed. Price was overcharged for doing absolutely not what they said they were going to fix for smog.Con business.Desired Settlement: Meet me halfway the price was $200 deducted hundred.
