Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There is some correct information in
their response, but little. When I arrived I requested to speak to a Sales Manager.
While I waited (1/2 hour) I spoke with Salesperson regarding the upcoming
purchase of a car for my wife. When I finally spoke with the manager it was to
voice my concern over the overbilling of my roof rack.
Up to this point I was polite and looked forward to
purchasing another vehicle from this dealer. The Sales Manager & the
Salesperson both gave me their cards and assured me I would be well taking care
of when I returned.
After this I went to the Parts Dept. to purchase the side
steps I had ordered. When I told the Parts Person what I wanted he started to
get the items. However, as he started to go into the back he noticed the coupon.
He returned to the counter and explained the Parts Manager was no longer
honoring the coupon, but he could give me a discount. As previously stated the
discount was $75.00 more than I should pay. I responded, again politely, that I
wasn't interested, but "thank-you for the offer". After all it wasn't
him; it was his manager's decision.
I left the Part's Dept. and was exiting the business when I saw
the Sales Manager and the Salesperson. I took out the business cards they gave me.
I walk up to the counter they were leaning on and put the cards on the counter.
I stated "I won't be needing these" and turned to walk away. I still
had the coupon in my hand. The coupon was obviously of no value so a tore it in
half and tossed it on one of their chairs. No profanities were used. The Sales
Manager saw this and came running after me. He was yelling and ranting about
how I wouldn't want him throwing trash in my house. He told me he didn't want
me in his store again. I told him that was no problem. I wouldn't be doing
business them. At this point we were outside with several customers around. I
still had not used any profanity or raised my voice. I just continued walking.
The manager continued yelling across the parking lot. He decided the best way
to avoid looking ridiculous in front of the customers was to yell that I had
been drinking and that I shouldn't be driving. I had one margarita with my
lunch before I arrived at the dealer. Finally I provided the Sales Manager with a two word profanity and I left.
Obviously, this dealer does not want to honor their
obligations.
Since this coupon was from their participation in the [redacted]
program I contact [redacted]. They informed me that the dealer had canceled they're
participation. At that time the dealer had not responded to other calls
regarding the coupons. [redacted] has agreed to send me a give card for their
store. I still don't have side steps, but I'll just buy them from another
dealer or online.
Regards,
[redacted]

Mr [redacted] was extremely rude and condescending to our staff. He uttered profanities at the top of his voice in the showroom to the Sales manager and then  ripped up the "coupon", leaving the trash on the showroom floor for us to clean up. He behavior was completely unacceptable. Had he...

simply contacted me that or the next day, I'm sure we could have come up with a resolution.
