We have received and reviewed Ms [redacted] complaint referenced aboveAAA attempted to resolve this with Ms [redacted] We have contracted with independent service facilities to provide Roadside AssistanceAAA shall not be liable for any damage, injury or loss occasioned by or resulting from rendering, attempted rendering, or failure to provide any Roadside Assistance or towing service or failure thereof by an independent service facilityThe independent service facilities are not agents of AAA, nor is AAA an agent for themThey are solely responsible for their actionsEven so, as a Member of AAA, we did try to determine liability to assist Ms [redacted] with her claims, however, we have determined that we cannot prove the independent contractor liable for the alleged damage claim based on the evidence provided • Ms [redacted] advised AAA she had broken down the night before and advised the police had told her that she had a broken ball joint• The vehicle was repaired prior to conducting a physical inspection by AAA or the independent contractor• Parts were not saved to inspect after the repairs were completed• Photographs were not taken or submitted to view any damage at the time of the disablement• The claim that the driver caused the damage to the axle and that this was not pre-existing is based on the Member advising a police officer from the previous evening told her that it was a ball joint, not a mechanic• Another third party touched the vehicle before it arrived at the repair facility to be repaired• [redacted] contact information is: [redacted] Based on the above findings, and limited evidence provided, we are unable to determine liability and therefore, denied Ms [redacted] ’s claim for repair workWe did provide a reimbursement for $in full for the towing provided by a non-AAA contracted facilityOn behalf of AAA Mid Atlantic we sincerely apologize any frustration she may have endured, as a result of her service requestIf you should have further questions or concerns please contact us at ###-###-####, Ext***Regards, ***

Thank you for providing AAA Mid-Atlantic the opportunity to review *** *** concerns with AAAMA Roadside Service and Policies.Upon further review of this concern it was determined that all procedures and protocol were followed accordingly.*** *** was asking for a service that was not covered
under the terms of her membershipThere are listed restrictions for service, please see the attached copy of a portion of the AAAMA Member Benefit GuideAAAMA could and would make arrangements to have a service provider move her vehicle from her driveway to her garage, however that service would be provided at station rates and not under the AAA Membership.A copy of the Member Benefit Guide for AAAMA is located on our website (aaamidatlantic.com)We encourage *** *** to review this as there may be other restrictions that she may need to know.We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused *** ***’s If there are any additional questions or concerns, please contact our Member Relations Deptat *** *** *** ***My direct contact information is listed below
