informed that her move in process will take some time because the unit she was assigned had been vacant for a while. Ms. [redacted] insisted that she had no where to live and needed to move in ASAP. My staff worked overtime to get her unit ready 2 weeks before her scheduled move in date. Through out the entire application process Ms. [redacted] was very rude with the entire staff. We spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] from Restart Inc and they also said that they have had to talk to her because she very rude and we all are trying to help. The day she came to move in she was completely rude to the leasing agent and maintenance even after we went above and beyond to override her denial and work overtime to prepare her unit early. Ms. [redacted] lease which is a legal bound document and was explained to her word from word page by page and also signed stated that maintenance has 24 hour to finish all emergency work orders. Ms. [redacted] claims that she did not know how to get in touch with emergency, She was given copy of her addendum that has the office telephone number. to get in touch with emergency maintenance you call the office and the machine gives you option to contact the operator, leave a message, and to contact emergency maintenance. once you dial the option for emergency maintenance it will dispatch you to a live person who will submit and contact maintenance. Fairfax Bluffs has a total of 256 apartments, %50 of the residents are handicap or disabled. Ms. [redacted] called maintenance at 2pm and complaining about maintenance showing up 3 hours later. When Ms. [redacted] called I explained to her that he was finishing up installing an AC for a tenant who just had 2 premature newborn twins,and next he had to put Freon in a apartment where and handicap resident on oxygen lived. I explained to her that they called before her and due to their health issues it was priority. When he arrived around 5:00pm it was determined her compressor needed to be replaced. He immediately called in the part to be ready first thing the next morning. He explained all of this to Ms. [redacted] and gave her 2 fans and a copy of the work order.(See attached.) Looking at the date Ms. [redacted] filed this complaint and based of her complaints it is proof that she immediately filed this complaint after he explained that he will be back in the morning when the part comes in to finish. Ms. [redacted] did NOT call the next morning because maintenance was at her apartment shortly after 9am after he picked up the part. within a few hours Ms. [redacted] Ac was working. Preventive pest control is done every other month all 256 apartments including vacant units and all basements.There is a total of 3 apartments in that building,and one tenant that has lived in that building for 3 years and has never had bug problem of any kind. The tenant next door has been there going on 2 yrs and also no complaints of bugs. [redacted] did a walk thru before she was given keys and during the walk thru there was no bugs present. No contractors, painter, carpet, vinyl, cleaner or maintenance reported bugs. Ms. [redacted] apartment was exterminated the day she moved in as requested by her even though there was no signs of any kind of infestation. Her AC was also fixed within 24 hrs. Here complaint was filed within hours of her complaint and did not even allow 24hrs.
