I had Fairfax Cooling and Heating install a new system and they do so with courtesy, professionalism and most of all competence The HVAC works great and the installation was top-notch Would highly recommend

Review: Hello. My complaint is that [redacted] (my friend) should have informed me of who he worked for and as my friend tell me that he could not help me because he was on the clock with his company. I was under the impression that he was coming over as a favor to me. Today 12/6/2013 I received a bill in the mail from Fairfax Cooling & Heating requesting $125.00 for services done. I then called the office stating that I didn't call your company for services but called [redacted] as a friend to just come look to at my unit. Then I spoke with the manager and explain to her the situation. She says she is sorry but out of courtesy she can lower the price to $75.00.

Situation: [redacted] comes to my home and looks at my unit. Cuts it on and says it works. He was here less than 15 minutes. He never informed me that he worked for Fairfax Cooling & Heating Co and their charge of service ($125.00). I'm very disappoint because I was not given a choice to decline or expect the charges prior to him entering my home. So I feel that services was unethical presented to me as a consumer.

My unit was still broken after [redacted] (Fairfax Cooling & Heating Co. tech) left. I had to call another company to come and fix my unit. They replaced the thermostat ($70.00) and a part in my unit ($80.00) that burned out. This resulted in me spending more money.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome of my case is that I should not be charge for services not explained and not even with the service charge range.
