Good Afternoon, First I would like to start of by saying that we don't make it a practice to short our clients of services/goods that have been paid for Secondly, I did speak with the person making this complaint and explained to him that there was absolutely no way he was shorted two
whole cods of wood I explained that each piece is counted for and at most may have been shorted a few pieces of wood but certainly not two full cords We pride ourselves on quality and customer serviceThis clients claims are and inaccurateand and I would like the complaint taken off of our account Best,Joseph G***

Complaint:

I am rejecting this response because:
I am very
disappointed to hear this response. It is true we talked once on the phone when
this first happened. He told me that I shouldn't have been shorted 2 cords, and
that he would look into it and call me back. I gave him a week to call back and
he never did. Then, I tried to call him to check the status, and I could never
get a hold of him. I called multiple times on several days, and I can only get
the answering system. He clearly blocked my number. He is a crook and a liar.
His response claims he prides himself on customer service, but he won't even
answer my phone calls or return my messages. He clearly knows he shorted me two
cords, but doesn't want to be accountable, and so he blocked my number. If he
would have answered my calls, I would have gladly settled this matter without
the involvement of the Revdex.com, and I told him that on my messages to him, but he
has shown no 'good faith' to his customers.
A cord of
wood is a 4 ft x 4 ft x 8 ft stack. He agreed to this measurement on the phone.
I have stacked the wood he brought into ~4ft x 8 ft rows. I ordered 5 cords. If
he truly brought 5 cords, these stacks I made should come out to ~20 ft of
wood. I've attached a picture showing the stacks. The stack only comes to ~12 ft.
I'm missing 8 ft of wood! There is no way he shorted me only a couple pieces of
wood! You can't just lose 8 ft of wood. He deliberately didn't bring the 2
cords I paid for, and he knows it.
Because he
didn't bring the wood I needed, I had to buy an additional 2 cords of wood from
other vendors. Interestingly, these vendors also saw the pile that Fairfield
County Landscaping delivered and agreed that it is only 3 cords of wood.
Therefore, I don't need the remaining 2 cords that Fairfield Countyy Landscaping
cheated me out of. Thus, the only response that I will accept is a refund of my
money for the two missing cords of wood. That amount is $450. I also tipped
them $20, and I want my tip back too because of the lies and poor customer
service from this company.
Sincerely,

Review: I ordered 5 cords of firewood from Fairfield County Landscaping. They dumped the wood at my house, and after I stacked it up, only 3 cords were present. I called them and notified them, and they were very pleasant on the phone. They told me they would look into it and call me back. After a week without being called back, I tried to call them. However, I have not been able to reach them. I have called ~20 times over 2 days, and the call always goes to their answering system. I've left messages, but they do not call back. I beleive they are deliberately blocking my phone number because before this happened, everytime I called, they answered the phone almost immediately.Desired Settlement: Deliver the 2 cords they shorted me, or refund me for 2 cords. Minimumally, I would like a response as to why they dont' return my calls. This tells me they clearly know they are shorting people.
