Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Queens/Queensboro Bridge Reviews (2)

Review: I stayed at Fairfield Inn and Suites in [redacted] for two nights (July [redacted] and [redacted] of 2014). The morning of July [redacted] I gave my car (2007 Infiniti M35x) to a hotel valet for parking ($25 per night) it in the valet garage while I was on out sightseeing in New York City. The next morning (July [redacted]) I checked out from the hotel and received my car back from another valet. When I was putting my luggage in the trunk of the car, I noticed some damage to the left side rear bumper of my car. The paint on the bumper is scraped as though the car has been hit while valet was trying to park in the garage. I told the valet who brought my car out about the damage and he promptly took me inside the hotel and explained the situation to the front desk person. The front desk person apologized and asked me to complete an incident report (Fairfield Inn document). I completed the incident report, the front desk person signed it and made me a copy for my records and said that I should call the hotel in a couple of days to talk to the [redacted]) about the insurance claim. I have tried to contact [redacted] many times the weeks following the incident but never actually got him on the phone. I had to leave several voice messages and messages with his personnel who promised that they will inform him about my innumerable calls. I wrote to Marriott hotels via their customer service contact us page online. They sent my message to [redacted] and he emailed me for the first time on August [redacted]. In his email, he mentioned that once the paperwork is filed, it is then sent to their corporate office who will then handle the claim. He also gave me [redacted]'s name as a contact from their corporate office regarding my claim. Meanwhile, I called my auto insurance company and started a claim about this incident. The auto insurance person, [redacted], tried to contact both [redacted] and [redacted] for over a month but failed and finally asked me how I would like to proceed. I have tried to contact both [redacted] and [redacted] all of August and September but never once received a response from them. I called them again this morning (10/*) and for the very first time spoke with [redacted] and expressed my disappointment in the kind of treatment I am being given by the hotel. [redacted] never apologized for the situation their hotel has put me in and for wasting my time for over 4 months on phone calls and emails. He took my phone number and said he will contact me right away. It has been 6 hours since and there is absolutely no response.Desired Settlement: I would really like [redacted] and Marriott hotels which owns Fairfield Inn to apologize to me for the inconvenience they have caused me and also to honor the mistake that happened on their property and ensure that the damage to my car are repaired at their expense. I have a signed incident report that clearly puts them at fault.

Review: On 09/**/2013, we stayed at this hotel. We are traveling to NYC for medical treatment from [redacted]. We stay at [redacted] hotels every other week. The pharmaceutical company pays for our hotel. The credit card is on file for the pharmaceutical company to be charged. We were forced to give a personal credit card for "incidentals." Unfortunately, our credit card was charged for the expensive room rather than the pharmaceutical's credit card. We have called the hotel 4 times, talked with them in person, and emailed corporate office. The charge is still on our credit card. My calls will not be returned by manager, and I need this money returned to my credit card. I have tried everything possible to contact this company and have been blatantly ignored by the manager. There is no excuse to still be trying to get my money 3-1/2 weeks later.Desired Settlement: I want our credit card credited for this stay and the pharmaceutical company to be charged as it was supposed to happen and promised would be taken care of.
