Fairfield Resorts (f/k/a) Reviews (1)
I think that I was overcharged. I bought a vacation package consisting of 5000 credits at $2.60 per credit. for $13,000 + $349. When I contacted Timeshare Angels to find out how much I could sell it for, the representative on the phone seemed to think that I paid way too much and she said she would give me $1000 for it.I bought it at Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Inc. I have been communicating with them thru email.I asked them what is the going rate for 5000 credits, but they have not answered yet. I don't think they are going to answer. The email is dated July 13, 2013 and it is now July 19. They don't usually take that long to answer my emails.I pay $412.04 a year for maintenance fees, and $241.11 a month for 5 years to my credit union. The maintenance fees are perpetual unless I sell it or pay thousands of dollars to get it out of my name. My children do not want it. My son already has one and my daughter does not want to pay that kind of money to go on vacation.I can't find that address when I search Revdex.com.com. I find an another address in CA and 1 in FL.Does that mean this location does not belong to the Revdex.com.I am 68 years old. I probably will not be able to travel more than 10 years. I plan to use this vacation package until I pay it off in 5 years. I will have to continue to pay maintenance fees until I get rid of it. I did not know about the lifetime membership fees until it was too late to cancel it's in the contract but I was so overwhelmed I didn't notice it.I have another vacation package with Global Discovery Vacations, but I only pay maintenance fees when I go on vacation. I used that to visit my daughter in May so I bought the Wyndham plan so I could go to Las Vegas in November.
