Ghost Agency
People most often need an agency when their having trouble finding a job. Do not assume this company will strategise with you, or advocate on your behalf. Although, it is certainly an advantage you might expect- from an agency that is rewarded with a percentage of your salary- Have to say- It’s kinda a ghost business- - you don’t meet an “agent.” This is just about filling out forms. Applying involves no personal contact, or acknowledgement. Strange to send very confidential information to a general to no named person. There is no confirmation of materials received. The paperwork is full of “scolding” little passages warning and snapping about the ramifications of not following their directives. Unless they find a job of interest to — them— for you—- there will be no human contact. Long established in Connecticut, you might assume they have a “reputation.” -But that’s the story- people just know about them.

Review: I sought out the help of Fairfield Teachers Agency for my first position in an educational institution. As a result, I obtained a part time position in a public school district. One month after I was hired I saw a position posted online for a full time job within that same school district, but not the same school. I did not contact the agency to discuss my application for this position as I was applying to the position on my own merit. After starting my new position, the previous school that I was employed at contacted the agency to fill my old position. The agency was concerned about where I went to work. They were informed that I had been hired at another school. The agency then contacted me regarding new contracting to change my payments because they feel that I was led to my new job based off their referral. The reality is that I took it upon myself to apply for this new job on my own. I did this without the help of the agency, their services, or anyone affliliated with the agency. I do not not feel that I owe them 7.5% of my new positions salary.Desired Settlement: Termination of contract
