Fairmount Memorial Association Reviews (3)

I responded to this the first time I received response was I would have our sales manager put it as top priority-the marker was set the exact same day as she made her complaintHer father paid for the marker and she ordered a bronze marker-bronze markers take from 5-months to receiveThe
salesman that handled this case told her 6-weeks when he thought she wanted a granite markget those out of Seattle-the bronze markers come out of the mid west and are very time consuming
The same day as I responded to your first request-she came into the cemetery office and was cussing and screaming at all our peopleShe is not a nice pershandle all kinds of customers that need our help or have a problem and we get on it immediately-when they start cussing at draw a lineShe has no compensation coming-she didn't pay anything

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:the response is full of inaccuracies! I am not expecting any monetary compensation. I just want it to be known to others about the extremly poor service received! First of all it was a marker for my Mothers grave, not my father's grave.
I have no knowledge how long it takes to get a grave marker, it is not something I deal with daily. When I was originally told it would be 6 to 8 weeks, I believed that, why wouldn't I? When 5 months had past (it was during the winter months) and still no marker, I inquired and found out IT WAS NEVER ORDERED! I was told it would be ordered then and again I was told 6-8 weeks. After 4 weeks, I was told the proof was incorrect and it was again reordered. It would take 6-8 weeks.
I receive a call on June 2 that the marker had arrived and would be in place in a week. I let three weeks pass before I visited my Mothers grave again only to find out, still no marker. I was told it takes longer than a week, since they are short staffed. Again, how would I know. I was only going by what I was told.
At this point, yes, I was frustrated and upset. I did go into the office and will admit I did raise my voice. Never once did I "cuss"! To be called "not a nice person" and cussing and screaming is a lie! I worked in the customer service field for over 30 years. I too draw the line at cussing. I assure you I did not cuss!

The situation has been resolved but it doesn't seem like the right had knows what the left hand is doing. An apology would have been nice!
Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: in April I had contacted a sales rep for removing my step dad and grandmother to be moved from this area and moved to kettle falls WA .paid for the service of both. then later for shipping up to kettle falls area. was told by the sales rep [redacted] that for unearthing I would need a rep from this cemetery, ( licensed director or such) to witness the removable). will later I was called and asked to view the removable of such pts without any director present. in the mean time I had contact with another funeral home in the Colville area to come down and do the final witnessing. on that sat I came in to sign off paper work and the bodies were all ready to be removed out of that area. not to my knowledge the relatives had been witnesses by a director for free, greenwood hadn't contacted the other director, which they were told earlier he would be doing the so called witnessing to stop his trip down to greenwood cemetery, when he arrived the deseaseds were all ready on their way up to the cemetery in the kettle falls area so his time and distance was wasted and I had been charged 250 dollars for his service which wasn't needed. in contacting the mgr of greenwood [redacted] he said a refund check would be issued and none has at this time almost 3 wks later.Desired Settlement: just send me my check and things will be ok
