I am writing to respond to the complain that was posted by my customer
rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 13.3333339691162px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">[redacted] I was out of the country and did not receive your letteruntil recently, I am sorry that this reply is coming so late.Now the complaint in question is revolving around a vehicle that waspurchased without a warranty, it is a car that cost less then2,000.00. In this sort of a business transaction all parties are awarethat the vehicle is sold as in, to protect themselves customers willhave their own mechanics come and check out cars. This was the casehere, Mrs [redacted] had her own mechanic come out before she purchasedthe vehicle in question and gave his approval. As a business weunderstand that used cars can be problematic and do our utmost to helpcustomers.The situation as it stands at the moment is that at the time ofpurchase this vehicle did not have a blown cylinder head gasket, Iunderstand that she did not have the car long before the customer ranthe car hot and blew the head gasket. To protect from this occurringall vehicles have a heat gauge which shows the optimal temperature ofthe engine and if they go above the recommend range, however brieflythey run the risk of damaging their engine. This being the case thedamage was caused after purchase and I cannot repair vehicles thatwere damaged due to user error. Also there is much risk whenpurchasing such a vehicle and unfortunately we do have some that causethe customers issues but to lessen this we allow them to check themout to their heart's content and make them comfortable with theirpurchase. I cannot tell how long any vehicle will run unfortunately.Mrs [redacted] has my deepest sympathies but my company handled thiscomplaint with the customer as well as we could and unfortunatelybecause the damage occurred after the sale and it was due to usererror I am unable to do anything further at this point.I will attach the documents showing it was purchased as is.Sincerely,Owner/Manager Fairtrade I co314 White DriveTallahassee, FL 32304###-###-####
