The account in our office for [redacted] is for charges outstanding when she vacated her apartment in November She is disputing the charges and the client claims that all the charges are validSince both parties believe that they are correct, we have returned the account to our client as disputed [redacted] will not receive as future calls or correspondence regarding this account

His name is ED C***He is rude disrespectful, and has no empathy for othersHe treated me like a criminal for having a dept a little over $Which I have been paying onMy husband called him backAnd the sorry excuse for a man basically called me a liar, and said other thingsThis debt is through my doctors officesWhich me and my kids still go toIt's not like I'm trying to ignore the debtMoney has been tight, my yr old daughter just fought brain cancer, my sister was just diagnosed with stage breast cancer, and it's back to school timeBut He could care lessHis karma will get him

I received a call today from a woman at Fairway Capital Recovery. She was calling about a relative who must have used me as a reference. I stated that I was at work, and to not call me again. She told me I shouldn't let people use me as a reference. I'm not sure how I can stop anyone from using my name, address and phone number. She said, "Don't tell me about your problems and hung up on me." I considered this to be extremely rude, and determined I should call back and speak to someone in charge. I am an executive at a financial firm, and couldn't believe how I was being treated. I was immediately routed to the same woman, who stated I shouldn't call back again and hung up on me. I didn't even get to speak. I called again, same result. I didn't get to speak. The third time I called, this woman threatened to call the police on me. ON ME! As if it is a crime to call someone and be hung up on! I called 7 times but the last 3 times I was hung up on without her or I saying anything. I was flabbergasted. I looked up the contact information on the website and called a different number. I reached an operations director, explained the situation, and he stated he would look into it. I decided to write this review for 2 reasons. In case there are any other innocent, bill paying individuals out there being harassed because they have a friend or family member that used them as a reference, and 2 so that I get some type of response from Fairway that disciplinary action was taken against this employee. Thanks.

Had very poor customer serviceThey are very rude

Dear
Ms***:
/>
Our office had accounts from UC Surgeons that were placed in back in After
conversation with Mr*** in December 2009, we verified with the client that
the accounts should be returnedThe accounts were returned in January We
received additional accounts for Mr*** in April 2010, also from UC
SurgeonsOur office sent him notice of the accounts and attempted to contact
him but we were not able to speak to himIt appears that there was a timing
issue with our client sending the accounts to our office
Due to the age of the account, UC Surgeons has agreed to allow us to return the account to them and
we will direct the credit bureau to delete the accounts from Mr*** file
when we send our bi-monthly electronic file

This has to do with FAIRWAY CAPITAL RECOVERYI had the most terrible day ever with this companyI normally make monthly payments on a debt I oweUnfortunately I lost my debit card and was issued a new oneI had called them a day before my payment was due to update my card information So I check my account a few days later to see if my payment has gone through but no it hasn'tI called them immediately to resolve the issue and spoke to a representative called ED who doesn't even give me a chance to explain myself and calls me a liar and further goes on to tell me I didn't have funds in my account that's why I called a day before to change my card informationI'm still trying to explain and he becomes extremely rude towards meI was very upset sy this moment and hang up since I knew I wasn't going to getting anywhere with him and all he was going to do was to be more abusive

Fairway Capital Recovery is a bill collection agencyNobody likes bill collectors, but they're neededHowever it is not okay to call someone and become rude and aggressive to them when they say they can't afford a payment right now, this is quite possibly the worst experience I've had with a bill collection agency, they are not flexible, they are really overly aggressive, and rudeAt one point the rep handling my account threatened me, and that is not a good way to do business

I am writing to let everyone know my horrible experience. A mad called about a doctor bill, that I knew I had. I explained to him that I could not pay the $400 all at once. He continued to ask me inappropriate questions like "how much is in your bank account?" "why don't you work?" "who feeds your child?" "how do you eat?"
He continued on for 10 minutes with these questions until I told him I wasn't paying anything now du to his unprofessionalism!

During my conversation with the representative, I never denied owing the money but during my process of trying to tell the gentleman what I can do, he proceeded to bully me because I could not resolve the matter all at once. I have never felt so disrespectful by anyone in my life until I spoke to this gentleman. This all could have been done with the first man had he been more understanding and listened. This company has a B- with the Revdex.com, with employees like this that grade wont last long.

[redacted] has an account in our office that she has been making payments on since November. In the 8 months that she has made payments, she has had 9 payments declined. The declined credit card payments were the reason for...

all the calls that were made to her. We had to contact her to determine if we could run the credit card again. Her work number was the only telephone that the collector had to contact her.
As Ms. [redacted] has requested her account has been noted for no telephone calls. She can send in payments or make her payments via our website if she prefers.
Respectfully,

I have a small dept that I let get behind. It got up to $450ish .. Well I started getting called in July 2016. I made a $100 payment. Then he called me again, and I made another $100 payment August2nd. Well he just called me again today.(August 23). Not even a month later... I told him I forgot to call him back. He stated that he left three voicemails for me, one of those with a gentleman, but didn't have a name.hmm.. Cause he was lieing. Continued to raise his voice after Ibtold him that I could make a payment again next Tuesday the 30th. He was mad at me cause I couldn't make a payment today. Seriously???
His name is ED C[redacted]... He is rude disrespectful, and has no empathy for others. He treated me like a criminal for having a dept a little over $200. Which I have been paying on. My husband called him back. And the sorry excuse for a man basically called me a liar, and said other things. This debt is through my doctors offices.. Which me and my 4 kids still go to.. It's not like I'm trying to ignore the debt. Money has been tight, my 10 yr old daughter just fought brain cancer, my sister was just diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, and it's back to school time. But He could care less.. His karma will get him....
