Faith Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine Inc

I had my daughter last year and I took her to Faith Pediatrics. I am a first time mom so I was super nervous about everything. The nurses are amazing and they made me feel so comfortable. Being a first time mom you really need that comfort when people are handling your child. Dr. [redacted] is an AWESOME doctor. My mom told me about him because both of my younger brothers went to him growing up. All the other doctors that work along with him are GREAT. I saw [redacted] a lot and she was amazing. As far as the office staff I have had great experiences with [redacted]. She really helped me with checking in when my daughter had her doctor's appointments. There was only one problem I had at Faith Pediatrics and that happened when my daughter was running a fever. The night before I called after hours phone line and Dr. [redacted] called me back and told me what to do and then told me to call the office first thing and make a appointment to bring her in. Me and her father brought her to the doctor's office. My daughter has [redacted] and when they would put her [redacted] number in it was saying she was not covered. Well by that time we had been there 30 minutes and we were sitting in the lobby and my daughter had a fever and I was getting so frustrated. So I began calling [redacted] trying to get through by this time we were there for over an hour and my daughter had fell off to sleep not feeling good. The office manager [redacted] would not see my baby because the insurance was not showing coverage. By this time I am getting upset and I start to take her to the ER but I finally got through. My [redacted] was so upset because she said their computer system had went down that's why it was showing no coverage and I had to give my phone to the girl at the front desk and we had to wait till my [redacted] sent an email to Faith Pediatrics before they would see her. The office manager had a look on her face like she didn't even care. My [redacted] said they were still supposed to see her and then bill them. So I then decided to take my daughter away because I couldn't go through that again. I really hated to take her away because I love Dr. [redacted] and all the nurses. My child was sick and it really bothered me that the office manager treated us that way. Since then I have spoke with Dr. [redacted] and he apologized about that. He also told me all the things they go through with [redacted] and I understand that but at that moment my baby girl was sick and that was more important to me. So if you decide to go here they are a GREAT pediatrician office. Dr. [redacted] knows what he is doing. Just the office staff was a little slack or should I say the office manager. Thanks
