Faith Satellite Reviews (1)

Installer was unprofessional and inappropriate. The person that took my call at office was very rude and unprofessional as well.I ordered [redacted] satellite internet service through my [redacted] provider and set up an install time. This install time happened to be during a time when I was out of town on business. When the installer showed up he was making inappropriate comments towards my wife and he convinced her that the dish had to be installed on the front of the house. As if all this was not enough he then drilled a hole through the wall about a foot or so higher than the other recepticles on the wall. This was done on the wrong wall on the other side of the room from where it need to be done to be able to access the device I wanted it to access. I returned home from my business trip and saw these things and was told what was said to my wife by the installer and I called the office that Monday afternoon. The woman that answered the phone was so rude and unprofessional I couldn't belive my ears. She made remarks to me like: "It sounds to me like the problem is between you and your wife" and "The cable dosn't feed it's self through the wall". She proceeded to call my wife a liar and to tell me that she signed the paper so we would have to live with it. Now I contacted [redacted] and we have made some arrangements to help with the actions of their contracted install company. None then less I wanted to make the Revdex.com aware of my expirence with this company. Unprofessional, inappropriate, rude, and sloppy lazy installation is what I delt with from this company.Desired SettlementI have settled this with [redacted] the satellite internet company they discounted my bill and extended my satisfaction period. We are working things out together. The company Faith Satellite however I would never do business with again nor would I let them on or near my property. Thank you for your time and listening to my compliant.Business Response Spoke with the husband but he was not present at time of install. The wife approved the install in the location where the installer put dish. No one was ever rude to customer nor his wife as the installer had his fiancé with him and would never have said anything unprofessional. We never called anyone a liar but we have issues where a customer approves install and the spouse comes home and hates install and then complains. We offered to move dish if there was a line of sight but couldn't move it. There was no pleasing this man Mr [redacted]. He was out of town when installation took place. Installer even called wife to apologize for any miscommunications and they were rude to him. Our company is a[redacted] company and our foundations are based on the principals of treating others with respect and we did so in this case. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The installer did not have his fiance with him the entire time in fact she showed up after he had been there a couple of hours and then she left again. My mother-in-law was there for almost the entire install and can witness this. The installer never spoke to my wife or myself after I complained to the company. He did try to call but we did not answer the calls as further communication with him directly was not professional or appropriate. They did not offer to move the dish they told me that my wife signed the install and that she approved it so that was that. As can be seen by the tone of the companies response they are very rude. The fact of the matter is that this man as they called me could have been pleased. When I am told that "the cable dosn't feed itself through the wall" and " the miscommunication is between me and my wife" or "the installer had his fiance with him the entire time he would never do that in front of her" then there is not much left to say. They can call themselves[redacted]s all they want but the fact remains that the installer said things to my wife that made her feel uncomfortable, he showed up to the install without everything he needed to do the job, his fiance showed up for a time with the parts he needed then she left again, not that her coming and going has anything to do with the hole that he drilled through the wall 10" above the height of the other recepicles on the wall, or that he was to lazy to run the cable over to the direct TV box where it needed to go to work with the direct TV service, or that he did not want to put in the extra effort to put the dish on the back of the house which has the same line of sight that the front has to the southern sky, after being at our house all day to do something that should of only taken a few hours with all the short cuts that were taken my wife agreed to the location of the dish and the cable to get him away from our property. The lady that answered the phone for the company was very rude and was not willing to even listen to our compliant or attempt to address our concerns she only had excuses for her installers actions and the install acceptance my wife signed to justify the unprofessional installation on my home. I had the installation done while I was out of town because I belived that it would be done in a professional manner as this is what is advertised by Hughes Net on their web site. The bottom line is that they did a half hearted install on my home with all the corners they could cut and by a employee that doesn't know how to handel himself professionally around a woman and then has to lie about his fiance being with him the entire time to cover up for it.[redacted]s don't lie and they don't make money doing things to others that they would not like done to them. It would serve them well to spend sometime reading the teachings of [redacted] and apply them to their business practices and their personal lives. Customer service requires listening, investigation, conflict resolution, and follow up with feedback. The random hole that was drilled through our wall has been repaired and the coax ran over to the location that it need it be to interface with the Direct TV. A proper wall plate was installed in line with the other outlets on the wall and it looks very nice. All this took less than an hour to do. We are accepting a years worth of discounted service from the internet service provider to off set the location of the dish on the front of our house. So quite the oppisite of what has been stated by the company I can be pleased with just a little effort and acceptance of the fact that a customer is not satisfied with the service they provided and effort on their part to work out the problem. The fact of the matter is this they do not care if a customer has a problem after they receive someones signature on the installation agreement they are done with that customer. They have no concern with the practices of their employees and feel they have no responsibility to customers for their actions. Faith Satelliete I can say this that I have faith that they will cut as many corners as possible and once they have their paper signed they are done with you so we are done with them.
