Faith Works Automotive Reviews (5)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The vehicle is still operational and being driven to this day and will be happy to have that information verified by a reputable mechanic. The "repairs" provided did not fix any part of the coolant system the actual repairs the other mechanic made replaced the radiator and coolant reservoir fixing the coolant problem and stopping all coolant leaks. The willingness to bad mouth another mechanic without actually knowing whom fixed the vehicle will be publicly noted on my [redacted] page. I have since had the car in running condition with only maintenance issues to deal with. All of which are preformed by the replacement mechanic who did the correct repairs to my vehicle. Also I had not overheated the vehicle at all prior to taking my car in I explained the vehicle had been running hot but had not overheated. Also the primary reason for the repairs was the hole in the coolant reservoir which was not repaired had it been repaired the block test would have not failed and they would have seen the leak in the radiator as once pressurized the leak would pour out coolant. Had the proper inspection to the system been done both items would have been brought to my attention. Since I use my car for work it was important the vehicle actually was in working condition and now it is.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

Regards,[redacted]

They did charge me the second time to the tune of $134.00 for another hose. They claim a collision but here is what they are hiding. 1. The collision was a year and a half before the ac stopped working. 2. The collision was on the other side of the car from where the ac is. No transparency, fiduciary obligation, or complete disclosure. The company had a fiduciary obligation to give complete disclosure regarding any rules, compliances, and information regarding collisions and claims and how it pertains to repairs. They did not. They breached their fiduciary obligation to disclose that information to me. It doesn't matter though because the collision was a year and a half before the ac went bad. Either give me all the money I spent or fix the AC.

Update: On September 28, 2016 we mailed a check to Mr. [redacted] in the amount of $506.20. This amount is the total of two invoices in which Mr. [redacted] paid for AC repairs. Invoice number 4642 in the amount of $369.92 and invoice 4674 in the amount of $136.28. This concludes any responsibility that we may have towards Mr. [redacted]. Over the last five years we have overheard heated phone conversations with Mr. [redacted] and various other businesses and or persons. We we have repeatedly heard him threaten these people with lawsuits and other actions. Mr. [redacted] has also requested that we make statements on invoices with the intention of suing dealers and or sales people. This has happened on two separate occasions with two different vehicles. The last time we saw him he was doting in our waiting area about the fact that he was suing his friend/roommate. By giving Mr. [redacted] back his money we have simply chosen to end the distraction. We choose to get back to the purpose that we feel God has given us. “To care about people, and serve them with accuracy and integrity.” We have come to the realization there are people in this world who are thieves. If they can't steal your money through false witness then they will choose to steal your peace. We will no longer let Mr. [redacted] steal either. My only regret is that it took me this long to come to this realization. A true witness never lies;
a false witness makes a business of it. Proverbs 14:5   Paul H[redacted] Owner: Faith Works Automotive.

The Facts:1. Mrs. [redacted] did bring her vehicle in with a cracked reservoir, and by her own admission had been driving her vehicle overheating for three days.2. We found a cooling system that was completely empty of coolant, a locked up water pump and...

busted belt.  She had been driving for three days without any coolant circulating in her engine. Note: water pumps don't just lock up silently, it had likely been making noise for days if not weeks.3. We advised Mrs. [redacted] that we very highly suspected that she had damaged her engine. We also told her the only way to know for sure is to replace the locked up water pump so that we can have coolant circulation back and perform a block test. Without coolant circulating through the engine this test is impossible.3. We gave Mrs. [redacted] a price to replace the water pump and belt and perform a block test. We also gave her an estimate for repairs if her engine was damaged. We advised her not just once but three times before doing any work on her vehicle that we highly suspected engine damage and that the repairs would likely exceed the value of the vehicle. We did not advise moving forward with this vehicle repair. And her bill at that time would have been $50.4. Mrs. [redacted] chose to move forward with repairs on her vehicle contrary to our advice. We replaced the water pump and belt added coolant and performed a block test and it failed immediately.5. Mrs. [redacted] was advised about the test failure and she declined any further repairs from this point.4. We did not miss the cracked radiator or reservoir. I think our response speaks for itself if the engine is damaged and no further repair is approved what is the point in replacing those components.5. I don't think Mrs. [redacted] new mechanic is much better at communication, he's just much better at lying and taking her money. Something we refused to do!!!!6. Unless Mrs. [redacted] has had the necessary engine repairs performed on her vehicle it is highly unlikely that she is driving it today.Conclusion: at Faith Works Automotive we are certainly not beyond making mistakes, and owning up to them. But this certainly was not one of them. I am very sorry that Mrs. [redacted] drove her vehicle for three days overheating and damaged her engine but it's not our fault. We became aware of her frustration when we called her back a week later to do a follow up as we do with all of our clients. I personally tried to speak with her and come to a resolution, but she became belligerent and begin screaming foul language at me. At that time I ended the call.[redacted]Owner.

I had an issue with my car and had my car towed to Faith Works Automotive. Not only did they fit me into their already extremely BUSY day, they fixed my car and restored it to perfection. The price I was charged for the service was GREAT! And it is no secret that Auto Mechanics (too many) lie and rip you off when they tell you what is wrong with your car and how much it will cost you to fix it. Well they didn't do that, they took their time fixed my car right, and charged me a fair and honest fee. NO extras!! Not only that... I couldn't pay for two more days (payday was two days away) the owner allowed me to leave with my car and allowed me to pay on the day the got paid!!! If you are looking for HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, GOOD work done to your car, and you don't want to worry about being ripped off. Faith Works is the only place I would trust.
