Unfortunately no company can control what anyone says about them good or bad !! This lady's complaint is only about 10% truthful/accurate a.h.s.(american home shield) did send my company to her home to repair a problem with her ac With any home warranty company the customer has to agree to any non-covered charges before the h.wcompany will order parts since they supply all parts !!! (so she was very much aware of the charges upfront) It is most unfortunate that some people act this way Like any business the workers never dictate what will or will not be completed on any job, that is solely upon owner/management !! We install refrigerant locking caps on every job that we do major repairs on due to code and this is the only lady out of hundreds of customers who has complained : ) She very much wanted a new outdoor unit and wanted her warranty company to pay for it which is okay and typical for A.H.S customers ,but when she was informed that we have to repair whenever possible rather than replace she became very upset And I did ask her to not stand and watch over my shoulders the whole time because when you take your vehicle to a auto shop you are not allowed to watch the mechanic the whole time ,it is nerve wrecking for someone to watch your every move !! As far as entering and exiting the home ,I never entered her home without knocking (SHE MADE SURE OF IT ,SHE KEPT THE DOOR LOCKED AT ALL TIMES) which made the experience even more tedious !! Also this couple never once mentioned that they were military retired or otherwise or they would have received a discount (we definitely appreciate and support our troops) AND yes we did install locking caps on the outdoor unit which didn't happen the first trip out because the job was not completed the first trip out !! But I personally installed the caps myself because they are required by the I.M.C(international mechanical code) which supercedes local codes we do try to satisfy every customer within reasonthis customer complained about everything and was not satisfied with anything there is a saying that we have unfortunately found to be true (you cannot please 100% of people 100% of the time) We apologized and did everything to try to make it right and nothing worked [redacted] Faithful Air & Heating [redacted]

The two gentleman from this company were prompt and courteous! More importantly they are honest and upfront!!! This company provides excellent service!

Faithful AC was sent by our home warranty companyI believed all we needed was a new thermostat because my son broke the one we hadAfter putting in the new thermostat, David said we needed our system cleaned outAfter cleaning our system out, he said we needed to get a new board because it had been cabled incorrectly and it was friedHe said not to turn on the system but after he left it clicked onI turned it offThe next day he was here for less than minutes and claimed we needed a whole new furnaceNow, our system isn't brand new but we certainly don't need a new furnace just yetI asked him if the system could be turned on and he couldn't give me an answer, he had to go look at the system in order toHis answer was noI was totally unsatisfied by the new furnace suggestion so I called someone local to look at our systemWithin minutes he had our heater going againWhile he (the new AC person) was showing me the system, we noticed that the tube that collects the fumes from the heater and sends them out was completely disconnected therefore we had carbon monoxide fumes blowing into our homeThe new person that looked at the system also said it hadn't been cleaned efficiently

Hired another AC company to come out, after Faithful Air couldn't get our system working for over a MONTH. The new company said they did terrible work, charged us significantly more than other companies, and broke the drain pipe in the attic air handler, then tried to glue it with mismatched parts. We had to wait over a week every time they needed parts, but this new company came out on Saturday and said they would have the parts on MONDAY. They also charged us $125 for refrigerant lock caps that we told them we didn't want and is not Code for our county. The new AC company tech verified that these caps are NOT required. They put them on the last time they worked on the unit after we told them FOUR times we didn't want them and to refund our money. They are NOT the company you want to work on your AC/Heating units!!!

I am rejecting this response because:  I don't agree with the majority of comments made by this company.  As typical, they become angry and unprofessional, the same way they conducted themselves at our house.  I have had inspectors and AC repair companies work on my AC system YEARLY, since 2008.  Not ONCE did any of the other companies bring up locking caps or try to sell them to me.
After they charged us and didn't install the parts, I immediately called three of the most recommended AC companies in our area.  They all three told me they don't even carry the locking caps as stock, nor order or install them.  They told me the locking caps are NOT required in our county or on repairs.  The AC company that came after a MONTH of Faithful Air's failure to fix our system, also said they NEVER sell locking caps to homeowners in our area/county and they are not required on repairs.  Plus, when we checked on the price, we could purchase all three caps for $33 and the other AC companies said they could purchase them for about $20.  They charged us $125 and didn't install them until the credit card company tried to get our money back.
