***,In response the complaint from ***, we would like to submit the following:We invoiced *** for what was due at the time we competed his roofHe paid us in full for the work we did. The gutter contractor we procured to install the gutter did not bill us until mid December, so we
did not know what that cost wasI estimated around $on my estimate to *** in November, but thought it would be a good thing to charge him the actual cost (under budget) rather than the estimatedShortly after we installed the roof in November, he demanded the bill and we did not have it yetWe have not billed him for the gutters yet because he is angry that we did not bill him for the gutterWe don't like angry customers. As far as his skylight, the skylight in question is too large for the existing opening in the roofWe removed the skylight in order to properly flash the curb, but the the skylight is too large for the openingThere should be no more than 1/4" to 1/2" on either side of the skylight*** has about 3'-5' on all four sidesThis makes it changeling to re-seat the skylight correctlyThe skylight might have been air tight prior to us lifting it, but would require an unconventional or even unprofessional method to re-seat it. We did not order or manufacture this skylightWe are reluctant to do any more work for *** for fear that he will complain about the smallest thing or seek out things to complain about such as us not billing him in full. I am rejecting this response because:I have absolutely no evidence that he was ever there. I was not notified that he was coming or that the work was completed. Since I am 2 days away from leaving the country for 2 months, I will not be able, to go up on the roof and check. The tenant has to be given 24 hours notice. He did not say anything about this guy showing up. I need some proof by means of photos or better yet, water not standing on that roof for over a week. This is why I am not satisfied by his reply.

I am rejecting this response because:Attachment BB3 I am astounded that Revdex.com would conclude that matter Re: ID # [redacted] - Sunwest Roofinghas been resolved.  Nothing could be further from the truth. (1)    Sunwest Roofing (SWR) has done nothing to resolve the matter;(2)    The bathroom skylight matter is just as abominable as in mid – November;(3)    Inside the bathtub we still climb a latter daily to reinforce our crude weather seal that protects us from every rainstorm, snowstorm, windstorm;(4)    The skylight matter is entirely due to SWR incompetence;(5)    SWR has completed none of the three points elaborated earlier;(6)    The absence item (2) has resulted in State Farm Insurance choosing to not insure our property further;(7)    For the first time in forty years, we are without Homeowner’s Coverage. Resolved?  What a joke! Today I spoke with NMRLD / Construction Industries Division (CID) who had determined SWR had pulled no permit for my project and has no valid Bernalillo County Business License.  CID indicated that when SWR’s business license is finally granted, Mr. A[redacted] will contact me and arrange for a time for CID to inspect SWR work at my property.  Said property is not in the city of Albuquerque. [Not a huge deal for a legitimate contracter, but we (the customer) are temporarily sealing the skylight inside bottoms to make our home livable in these current four months of cold weather.] Thanks, Mr. [redacted] [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the response.
