Review: Merchant started the roof in September and has not completed the job as of December. The merchant was paid in the full and stated only had about 1 1/2 hours of work left to do. He promised that he would be here and never showed up. I have open space in the attic where I can see daylight, can't paint the porch under the roof because it has missing wood that should have been replaced, gutter and drains are not put up, and there is back tar on the house, on the ground, and even on the hose outside. I also have damage to clothing and misc. items in the attic because of water damage, a tarp was not put up when the old roofing was removed and we had rain. Two of the bedrooms also started linking in spots where we never had any links; damage and ceiling tiles were damaged and fell down in the two bed rooms. I have had to call or text the merchant just about everyday to ask if he was coming through to complete the roof and he advised me yes and would never show up. I have contacted the merchant over 20 times to get the roof completed. I even had to pay additional funds for supplies and taking old material to the dump. I paid him through cash and credit cards, I do have receipts and text messages to support my claim (if needed I am in the process of trying to get the text from my phone to my computer). Desired Settlement: I would like to receive $3500.00 because I am going to have to hire someone to complete the job that the merchant started regarding the roof and the cost for the items that were in the attic to be cleaned.
