Review: On August 3, I searched for the website for the Virginia DMV to purchase a replacement driver's license. I followed a link, mydriverslicense.org, and found the site appeared just like the DMV site for Virginia and represented that it could help with replacing driver's license. The wording and appearance in this site were very misleading. After I completed the info requested and provided my credit card information I found that all they provided was a copy of the form. They charged my credit card at total of $16.70 in two separated charges of $14.71 and $1.99. Realizing I was in the wrong website, I found the correct DMV site and completed the request for replacement license for ONLY $20.00. This site is taking advantage of its customers by providing misleading information and deceitful appearance to make you think you are working within a DMV site.Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund of $16.70 on my credit card and assurances that no further charges will be charged to my card. I would also hope that the website would take to heart this complaint as well as all the other complaints I found for this company and change their misleading business practices.

I also "thought" I was on Colo. DMV's site trying to renew my license on-line. $2.99 was debited to my credit card acct. that day; then another $19.99 was posted TODAY ... both have been disputed w/ my bank as UNAUTHORIZED!

Review: This business continues to attach itself to state DMVs, causing consumers to believe they are contacting a state .gov site. This business has no phone number for contacting them and they do not respond to web based complaint other than form letter type responses. As the others who have complained, they did not allow me to unselect their deceptive choices until they already had my credit card numbers. Now I am unable to contact them to seek redress for their deceptive billing practices.Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to speak with them to request a reasonable refund.

This website claims to be helping you with the DMV process, but I was under the impression I was on the DMV website. The company refunded my money with no problems, but when I mentioned that their website was misleading, the operator was ugly to me. Misleading business practices should be changed!

Review: located on the Texas Department of Public Safety Website is a button that leads you to believe that Mydriverslicense.org is part of DPS. While attempting to change the address of a driver on a driver's license, I was mislead/misdirected to order an e-book that I did not want or download and has nothing to do with what I was attempting to do. Further the cost of the e-book was advertised at 11.95 and has appeared on my credit card as a 16.95 charge. This is deceptive from the absolute beginning. All appearances are that I am dealing with DPS until the charge is being made to my credit card. Shame on you folks for attempting to trick old folks. I want the charge reversed. I did not download or want you so-called valuable information e-book.Desired Settlement: Change your ad on the DPS website to ensure that in advance of any sales promotion you reveal that you are not connected in any way with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Do this before you request payment information so that a potential customer can decide if he/she wants to proceed with a purchase. Finding out that you are not part of DPS after the charge has been processed is deceptive and patently unfair.

It has some how gotten hold of my credit card and trying to charge me $20 for I don't know what? I am calling my credit card and refusing the charges. Its advertise as a driver license bureau.

This scam was surprisingly advertised on the DMV's web site. I'm shocked that they allow this. If you thought that this government website was safe and trustworthy then think again. Keep your guard up and try to navigate past this very misleading ad, and stay on what appears to be the DMV's confusing website as best you can. This website charges you a couple of fee's, the main fee can be refunded within 5-7 business days with a phone call, but as the other user stated, they have attitude problems because they think that us victims are the annoying ones. They also refuse to refund their $2.99 "processing fee".

Review: When I went onto the Texas Department of Public Safety Website to change my address on my Texas Driver's License, there was a link to MYDRIVERSLICENSE.ORG which made it appear that you had to go to their website to obtain the forms necessary to change your address on your driver's license. I filled in all the information, entered my credit card number and then that took me to a screen explaining that I had purchased a "Guide" on how to change my address with DPS. When I realized that I was not paying $15 to change the address to DPS itself, but was instead paying for a "Guide" on how to do so, instructing me to print out their form and take it to DPS, I tried to back out of the website. I then went to the DPS website and realized that the form was completely different on the official website and that DPS directly accepts the $15 fee online without needing to take any forms to the office, I did so. Then, today, 1/24 I looked on my bank account and realized that the company had indeed charged me a $15 fee in ADDITION to the $15 I had to pay to DPS, I called the company to dispute it. I was told to expect a refund within 5-7 business days.Desired Settlement: I will accept the refund, but think that this company should not be allowed to advertise on a government website, where they make it appear that they are handling the fee with DPS to change your address, and it is only AFTER you pay, that you are told what they merchandise really is and that you still have to take the official DPS forms to the DPS office to complete the change. This is VERY deceptive and for someone with less resources than myself, could be devestating financially if the person only had $15 to pay ONCE to change their address. I think this website should be shut down, or their link should be taken OFF the official DPS website. I am college educated and very computer savvy, and even I fell for this scam. Someone who is not as astute as I am might very easily have not caught on to this and been thinking that they had been successful in changing their address on their driver's license, when in fact, all they did was pay a company to do nothing for them that they could not do themselves through the official DPS website.
