Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/03) */
Hi .My name is Roger.I wouild like to bring your attention to shirt which was already discollerated under arms before dry cleaning.Counter clerk working at drop up store told the customer that this shirt already damaged and we not able to...

restore original couler to shirt, but if customer want we can dry clean it. Customer said O.K. and shirt was only regular dry cleaned, according to label on shirt"s care instruction. When Mr.[redacted] called me I explained him all above kindly, but he started yelling at me and tretinning me that he will destroy me and my buseness.I told him that only reason why this shirt lost colouris body heat espetially under arm sweating. This damage nothing to do with dry cleaning prosess. Then he started screaming on me and telling that I didnot do dry clean at all.I offer him free dry cleaning if he likes ,but he refused and started demanding money. He said he need $700 then $350.I told him I am not responsable ,I have absolutlt nothig to do with damage, again,it coused by under arm sweating which is happen when fabric on item is gentel.Again I can offer free dry ceaning but I am not paying any money. Thank you Roger.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am baffled by the response from Falconer's cleaners. Firstly, I do not yell at anyone and did not make such inappropriate threats. I video recorded our correspondence to prove this fact. There was no such conversation had between me and the receptionist. If there was any discoloration of the shirt then I wouldn't be able to wear it on stage during performances. As I informed you, I conduct concerts with the Minnesota Orchestra, so to enter the stage with a uniform that is discolored or not presentable is a clear violation of my contract. The receptionist looked at the shirt and advised me the company cleans silk shirts all the time and that this would not be a problem. The BIGGEST concern is that it is industry standard for dry cleaners to place a label on any stain that was brought in BEFORE cleaning that was not able to be removed. This was not done. The shirt was returned to me without such label, which acknowledged the fact that this was NOT the condition I brought the shirt to Falconer's cleaners. Lastly,
I informed Falconer's cleaners that the RETAIL value of the shirt was $700.00 and that the purchase price was $350.00. I understood that this was a lot to ask of any small business, so I recommended that he refund half the value of the purchase cost. I have attached 3 supporting photographs. 1. shows the tag I had sent to me from the store to support the price of the shirt. 2. You can see the shirt being picked up for the first time from Falconer's Cleaners with no such Label attached identifying any damage to the shirt nor that the shirt was brought to the company with discoloration. 3. You can see an up-close picture of the arm pit that shows peeling and improper treatment of the shirt. Lastly, I would encourage you to show these photos to any industry professional and they will clearly advise you that the shirt was not treated the way the company describes.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/02/12) */
I am really confused by Mr Cox s respond.Which statment is true?Or he says that when he brouhgt the shirt, it didnot have any stains under arms we just scrached it and damaged it.Then he stated that when he dropped shirt he told to counter clerk can we clean and remove under arm stains properly. So which statment is true? Any way .I am sure that I didnot do anything else exept just regular Dry-clean ! And also a am sure that, shirt had body sweat-deorodont stains before. That s why I am not responsable for any claim.Further cansern shuold be forvarded to manufactur or store.Thank you.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2016/02/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Falconer's Cleaners still refuses to acknowledge the damage done to the shirt that not only I, but several other professionals in the dry cleaning business has sited and can attest to. This matter is simple. I brought a shirt in to be cleaned by a company. The shirt was returned in a condition that I did not leave it in. The shirt was not labeled when it was returned to me to have any previous stains or damage that would prevent the dry cleaners from removing, which is typically done as a part of business practice to show when a dry cleaners could not remove any stains. The under arm sweat within the shirt was not soaked and removed but it was scrubbed, which caused the fabric to peel. The shirt was also heavily pressed. I am not sure why a company such as Falconer's fails to acknowledge a customer's concerns but insist that the customer is not telling the truth. It is unethical business practice.
