Review: Last year Seight advised me that a Refraction Procedure could be done, for an additional $40. which would not be covered under my insurance plan. This was the same for my husband.I declined then. This year, the procedure was not mentioned to me, and I believed my past record indicated that I did not want it. Without mentioning it, It was done anyway and I received a bill for the $40. with a pre-printed statement to send it in to my insurance provider. I have called the manager of their billing department, Tracy H[redacted], on four separate occasions, leaving a message each time. I did not get a return call. Since the Refraction Procedure is not covered by any insurance plan, I feel this is a deceitful practice at best, or a scam perpetrated by the business to get additional income.Desired Settlement: Since Seiht is intentionally doing a procedure which is not mandatory, and not covered by any insurance, they should be forced to tell the patient before hand, and explain to them what the procedure covers. Then they won't get an unexpected bill which must be paid out of pocket.
