Fallon Auto Mall Reviews (3)

Fallon Auto Mall is the perfect place to purchase your next car. My experience with them on January 8, 2016 was a very positive experience. Having purchased a vehicle there prior to this one, I was in hopes of a good experience and I was not disappointed. Jimmy C[redacted], Sales Associate was both friendly and knowledgeable and went way out of his way to ensure I had a positive purchasing experience. Likewise, Spencer J[redacted], Finance Manager, with whom I've had a previous positive engagement did not fail to impress me with his expertise and desire to give the customer as much help as possible. I will certainly go back to Fallon Auto Mall the next time I'm shopping for a vehicle.","pos-1

To whom it may Concern,I bought a vehicle at fallon auto mall paid them 1500 up front they got a lender than they said the lender back out after signing the paperwork and reposed my car after they couldn't find another lender.Product_Or_Service: VehicleDesired SettlementI just want my car back with the same details I agreed to.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]-GMContact Phone: 7754232171Contact Email: [redacted]The bank that gave us an approval for [redacted] required stipulations to be met.Once the stipulations were sent to the bank, the bank excercised their right to rescind the approval even after they assured us that the approval would stand. [redacted] provided everything the bank asked her to provide and we as a dealership did everything we could to keep the approval in place. Unfortunately that did not happen. We worked to get [redacted] an approval from another lender and were able to do so. We allowed [redacted] to remain in the vehicle the entire time and never went and physically repossessed the vehicle. In our opinion, [redacted] did everything the bank asked her to do and they should have kept the loan in place. At the end of the day, we have to be funded by the bank. It is ultimately up to them on whether or not they are going to cash the contract once all paperwork has been submitted. The only other approval that we were able to get was 1% higher but had a shorter term. We reduced the sale price of the vehicle as much as we could to help with the payment and then simply presented her the option of going with that approval or returning the vehicle. [redacted] chose to go with the only approval we had and the paperwork has been sent to the bank. She is still in the vehicle and we are waiting to be funded. -[redacted] GM

I was in Fallon auto mall on 10/22/13 we agreed on 15000 back for my used truck and 338 a month for my payment on the 2007 charger rt. I signed the agreement and came back this morning with my truck well when I got to Fallon auto mall to do the rest of the paper work the financial mgr came out and stated o we looked up the wrong truck on Kelly blue book your truck is worth less I stated to him that's not my fault so we left I tryed contacting the owner and they told me he was on vacation they transferred me to the general manager and I talked to him he stated let me crunch some numbers I'll call u back in an hour. I had to call him back to find out that he was out to lunch after about 2 to 3 hours he called me back and told me there's nothing he can do once I said again this isn't my fault he start hollering and cussing at me over the phone in front of my mother who is 68 years old. His words were I will charging any god dam price I want to for any car.Desired SettlementI want the deal on the car that we talked about on 10/22/13 that I signedBusiness Response [redacted] unfortunately misrepresented his trade while we did an estimated off site appraisal. We were concerned that he did not bring the trade to the dealership but gave him an estimate on what he said was a 6.0L diesel 3/4 ton truck in perfect condition. When the truck did show up, it was a 5.3L gas engine 1/2 ton. Obviously this is a completely different vehicle. We called the bank and tried to work with the rate and the approval amount. This took time. We also reduced the sale price of the vehicle more than $2,000 for what would have been a loss to try and get the deal done. At the end of the day, we are not the bank and we can only put a value on the actual vehicle being traded in....not on what a customer describes to us. We have been in business for over 50 years and just received the Churchill County Business of the Year for 2013 by the Northern Nevada Development Authority. On September 24th, 2013 we received a Certificate of Senatorial Recognition, Congressional Recognition, and Certificate of Commendation from our United States Senators for our 'Pay It Forward Program'. Our Revdex.com file was opened in 1978 and we have always had an A+ rating. These are the facts about what actually happened and who we are as a business. Thank you for your time. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I did sign a paper which had what Fallon auto mall was going to payoff and with my down payment and also my monthly payments once again I was told to bring my truck in and finifh the paper work. Fallon auto mall did the bait and switch trick. I have witness from the paper work being signed and from [redacted] cussing me out in front of my 68 yr old mother. Its not my fault Fallon auto mall made the mistake. Final Business Response [redacted] never signed a finance contract. [redacted] never signed odometer statements. [redacted] never signed any finance documents. The reason [redacted] never signed any finance documents is because we never had a deal. We had a pending deal provided the trade was what he said it was in the condition that he said it was. The Fallon Auto Mall would never sign any Finance Contract, Power of Attorney, Authorization for Payoff, Odometer Statements, Agreement to Provide Insurance, and Bill of Sale without seeing and driving the trade. An off-site appraisal is inherently pending on whether or not the vehicle checks out. We are not going to sign finance documents granting someone $15,000.00 for a vehicle we have never seen. For all we know it may not have a transmission in it....or, in this case, be a completely different vehicle. [redacted] never signed any of the above mentioned finance documents nor did the Fallon Auto Mall. These documents are what constitute a deal. There is no deal without them. If [redacted] had signed any of these documents he would have a copy of all of them. Please have [redacted] produce copies of all of these documents showing that we did in fact have a deal as he states. This will be the final response from the Fallon Auto Mall regarding this case. Thank you once again for your time.
